I’ve been looking at flights to Scotland for September and was trying to stay away from United. My last United flight was a horror show. So, I found out about the ‘shared’ status.
I got stuck in Jackson Hole airport for I think 8 hrs.
I could have nearly drove home in the time it took to finally get home with the connecting flight delay.
After we got in the air, we quickly saw why we were delayed.
Pretty scary flight.
Maybe she meant rapper and not racist.
I remember when I was 19 years old and the IcelandAir flight that was to take me to Luxembourg (so I could go by train to Geneva to see my Dad) was delayed for 22 hours so they could fix a problem with one of the engines. I did not yell, scream or hoist myself onto the counter. I simply went back home with my Mom and Uncle until the next evening.
Of course, people were generally more civil and less unhinged back then, in 1986.
The calm face on that airline employee as he calls whomever he needs to call whenever this happens is priceless.
Ignorant idiot throws a hissy fit and then just walks off like nothing happened at all..She should have been put in a straight jacket and taken away..
I have felt her pain. In my fantasies I have reacted similarly.

We fly in and out of Fort Lauderdale on a regular basis. A few months ago a Spirit flight landed and my husband and I wondered from what 3rd world country it had originated. What a motley group of people deplaned. It was from Atlanta.
