I don’t recall what Friedman did but I’ll take your word for it. I think even worse from the NYT was Judith Miller’s work. She was the one pushing the meme that Iraq had WMDs. Turns out her primary source was one Ahmed Chalabi, who pushed that fraudulent claim to whomever listened to him, but always off the record. Miller may have won a Pulitzer for her work there, not sure. Seems like she won a big “journalism” award for something.
I’m beginning to pick up a pattern,, Yes.. Yes.
There it is.. nothing less than an all out assault on a captive populace with barrages of propaganda and speculation mixed with a heavy dose of vitriol and second guessing,, all praised as journalistic efforts worthy of Pulitzers and Peabodys in the ongoing battle of good v. evil.

Alexander, Graham, Kyl, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso, Enzi and Romney are all Bush League Republicans.
I don’t think they will have any problem getting to 20.
