Many people I know in law enforcement circles shuddered when James Comey tweeted recently that acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker “may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer.”
To them, Comey’s Twitter attack crossed that “blue line” – the one that real cops abide by, to never criticize fellow officers and to always have their backs.
I had a different reaction. I found it odd that a man who started his Twitter career by quoting Bible verses about justice might have forgotten one of the golden utterances from Jesus himself: “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone."
The failures of Comey’s remarkably turbulent and short tenure as FBI director were on display again Friday on Capitol Hill, when he was interviewed in a closed-door session by two House committees. Republican lawmakers were aghast at his sudden lack of recollection of key events.
He didn’t seem to know that his own FBI was using No. 4 Justice Department official Bruce Ohr as a conduit to keep collecting intelligence from Christopher Steele after the British intel operative was fired by the bureau for leaking and lying. In fact, Comey didn’t seem to remember knowing that Steele had been terminated, according to sources in the room.
“His memory was so bad I feared he might not remember how to get out of the room after the interview,” one lawmaker quipped. Lamented another: “It was like he suddenly developed dementia or Alzheimer’s, after conveniently remembering enough facts to sell his book."

All smoke and mirrors. Coney admitted to a crime almost two years ago. Nothing happening. He played congress like a fiddle by stalling. Still haven’t been given a date for L. Lynch to testify. It really doesn’t matter. Nothing will happen to any Dem.

Oh yes, such a quipster that one. We're only talking about the clymer ex-head of the FBI who personally fixed it in multiple ways for Her Heinous to get away with using a personal mail server to hold and transmit classified information, and who precipitated his firing so he could leak memos that would spur an independent counsel being appointed (with the assistance of a recusing good-for-nothing attorney general). But let's just yuk it up how he suddenly cannot remember anything.
ARREST this man and waterboard him .

Agree, and I would extend the thought to many of the leaders in the DOJ, FBI, other departments under Obama and members of Congress. There is just a vile cesspool there that will likely never be cleaned because it is so deep and pervasive.
Indict Comey for perjury and watch how quickly his memory returns.

Comey's dearth of knowledge, comprehension and understanding of events while cashing US govt checks appears
to be a gross violation of govt-regulated employment .....and a high-profile misuse of a govt position.
Comey does not appear to have carried out the Responsibilities of the FBI Director, such as ensuring that
cases and operations that impact the safety and security if Americans are handled correctly.
Americans should demand that Pres Trump determine ASAP whether (A) Comey lied to govt officials as to his fitness to be Director, and, (B) submitted falsified documents to govt officials.

when Comey is questioned a second time on 17 Dec., EVERY SINGLE QUESTION should be about Mueller’s investigation is supposed to be about Russian collusion/interference in the 2016 presidential election, so why isn’t it about HRC/DNC/Obama Admin officials/unmasking/CIA/DNI/FBI/MSM/Fusion GPS/Steele/Russians/FISA court judges etc etc etc.
Right...it’s all connected.
