Prosecutors’ Narrative Is Clear: Trump Defrauded Voters. But What Does It Mean?
New York Times ^ | Dec. 8, 2018 | Peter Baker, Nicholas Fandos

WASHINGTON — The latest revelations by prosecutors investigating President Trump and his team draw a portrait of a candidate who personally directed an illegal scheme to manipulate the 2016 election and whose advisers had more contact with Russia than Mr. Trump has ever acknowledged.

In the narrative that the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, and New York prosecutors are building, Mr. Trump continued to secretly seek to do business in Russia deep into his presidential campaign even as Russian agents made more efforts to influence him. At the same time, in this account he ordered hush payments to two women to suppress stories of impropriety in violation of campaign finance law. (My deemphasis.)

After reading this whole article, my conclusion is that there will be no significant action on the whole "Russia collusion" pile of BS but that the DemonRat House will impeach our PRESIDENT Trump on the Stormy Daniels/campaign finance issue simply because their base demands it and the DOJ found sufficient legal basis for a prosecution in a similar, but not identical, case involving John Edwards where the jury found Edwards innocent of the campaign finance charges.

The notion that this constitutes “defrauding voters” is insane. Which is why the Dems will probably run with it.

If they try, I hope that honest Americans make what’s going on in France look like a frigging picnic.

The President didn't need Putin to win.

Stormy Daniels signed an affidavit saying "it never happened".

What about all the hush money that Congress has paid out? Are we not entitled to the names?

I don’t want to read the article but are they saying his election was a fraud because we didn’t know he slept with a hooker while married?

Because shouldn’t we then go back and retroactively impeach a few other presidents?

It’s what the NYT runs when the Russia, Russia, Russia story peters out.

The narrative is anything but clear. Ultimately all they are saying is “we really really don’t like him”. We’re getting very close to a narrative that just condemns someone for not agreeing politically. If they get rid of our president, we are all on the chopping block.

My take is that Mueller accomplished his mission. Vague conclusions that will give both sides something to like. No clear evidence of Russia collusion and no clear evidence that Trump is innocent of election manipulation (whatever that means). The new House has enough to talk impeachment and stall their legislative agenda, which suits me fine.

I think it means that if the Lefties, the Media and the Uniparty tries anything with President Trump, we’ll be giving them a one-way, all expenses paid trip to Benito’s Esso station.

As the saying goes - they’re not after Trump, they’re after us. Trump is just in the way.

The Meme emerges.

So when will SDNY “prosecutors” (i.e., Preet Bharara operatives) be indicting Stephanie Clifford and Mike Avenatti for extortion?

First, we need to put in jail every single congress person who embezzled government funds for sexual harassment hush money. Charges need to include theft, criminal sexual charges, extortion, and of course campaign finance abuses. Once that is done to every last one of them, come find me to discuss our President. Until then, as a Brit would say, sod off.

After The Big Orange County Steal out in Carolinafornia, I think we're pretty much done with "elections" in this country.

Time for the Russians [Wolf brand] to start voting for us.

They want "Resistance", we'll show 'em RESISTANCE...

This will likely cause another 750 pt drop in Dow on Monday. They will destroy the President no matter the cost. I am tired of it.
