In the Illinois Capitol rotunda this month, several traditions are being celebrated. There's a Nativity scene for Christmas, a menorah for Hanukkah, and then something a little different: an arm holding an apple, with a snake coiled around it.
It's a gift from the Chicago branch of The Satanic Temple. Called "Snaketivity," the work also has a sign that reads "Knowledge Is The Greatest Gift."
Nearby stands a sign in which the state offers a civics lesson — and explains it didn't have much of a choice...

Pray the Church awakes and gets active in public policy.
Maybe a Catholic Janitor will ‘accidentally’ bump that statue with his floor buffer. If anyone has ever used an industrial size floor buffer-waxer to polish a floor (which I have), you know how strong a swing those machine can create.

The Land of Lincoln . . .what could have been. The state of Illinois is on the brink of total disaster with its Anti-God policies and laws as well as social rhetoric that is not in keeping with Scripture. Let’s not leave out indoctrination in the schools. May the Lord have mercy on those who live in the state that are followers of Christ.

I don’t understand why its so difficult for officials to find a way to exclude this. Satanism can be considered a ‘hate’ religion which was built for the purpose to incite others so its not equivalent to just another faith like Hinduism or whatever.

I AGREE-it’s a cult. However, there was a case in Florida, where the judge ruled that it was just another religion. Also a case in Oregon where they were demanding equal time at after school devotionals, but I didn’t see the outcome of that for sure.
The temple of Satan was planning on building 9 more synagoges. Satanic services are now practiced in the UK services, and Satanic Preachers were to be allowed in US military. If anything has been done to stop it, I haven’t run across it.
Darn judges are ruining this nation.
Leftists are a bunch of haters. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand Leftists. They enjoy spreading inflicting pain. I’m dead serious. It is ast time to put away the illusions and fear of being judged for telling the truth.
