That was exactly how I read it, and boy, it did make my hackles raise up.

THAT is a prime example of WHY I despise Leftism.

I’m still waiting for the prices to moderate. That gear is expensive.

Can he even say, outside of some dum bass movie, where it was used this way?

Can he name even one event where someone used military-grade night vision (or even non-military) to kill as many people in as short a time as possible?

With some good ion pipe and enough gun powder, I could make a cannon that fired grapeshot, chains and nails.

In 2001 several Saudi Muslims flew commercial planes into several buildings, killing thousands of Americans. Did we ban airplanes? Did we ban carpet knives?

We should have banned Muslims, though. Maybe he should support banning North Koreans?.

I’ve noticed for a long time that anything in SportsmansGuide.com that involves night vision technology is banned to be shipped to a bunch of states.

Another organization whose stupidity can only be measured using scientific notation.

Surprised that they don’t add that those darned night vision electronics contribute to global warming...er...climate change.

I have a nice hand-held flood light from Elvolva Technology - used for photography. I was looking on Amazon for more of a spotlight - narrow beam. They don’t have one, but they do have IR flashlights to be used with night vision. They look pretty nice.

I’ve used the ATN X-Sight Day/Night scope for a couple of years and liked it. That’s why I bought the 384 (1.25-5x). Never thought I’d use the record function, but actually use it quite a bit.

Their next target will be "trigger fingers"... Everyone will have to have them removed for being so dangerous...

Unintended consequences:

“A running man can slit 4,000 throats in one night”.

So, ban running shoes.

My Air Force buddy brought home a very amazing monocular night light amplifier which made me want one soooo bad!
I wish I could afford one. This was a gizmo not available for sale, mind you. Even the ones which are available are not for export and almost certainly tracked. Awesome technology!
