He was an 89 year old transferred to the roughest prison in the system. They knew exactly what would happen. The question is why now?

Nope. Don’t you remember the POTUS debate at UMass-Boston back in 2000? They were digging Bulger’s victim’s bodies out of the ground right in view of the news cameras. One of his tactics was to bury bodies near highways.

The author of this and many articles on the Bulger crime family, Howie Carr, supposedly had a contract out on him by Whitey.
