This is not a defense of Megyn Kelly. This is a defense of sanity.
If you’ve not watched the six-minute or so segment that’s the heart and soul of what’s being used to show Kelly as a racist, stop reading, go back and watch — because the headlines and stories and criticisms that have come like pelting hail upon her head have little to do with truth and everything to do with misinformation.
Here’s a sample: “Megyn Kelly Doesn’t Think Blackface Halloween Costumes Are A Big Deal,” blasted one headliner to the “Breakfast Club’s Donkey of the Day” YouTube clip.
Or this: “Megyn Kelly’s ‘blackface’ comments show her true face,” CNN slammed.
Or this: “Megyn Kelly was making racist comments long before ‘blackface.’ NBC hired her anyway,” USA Today blasted.

Lucille Ball did a buck-teeth taken on Orientals. I saw it not long ago on TV.
I cannot stand Me-agyn Kelly. But what she said wasn’t racially insensitive. Imagine if someone said on tv “when I was young I heard people at my school use the n word.” By those standards, that would be racist. Jimmy Fallon still has his show after the worst racist mocking of Chris Rock at that awards show. No one cares.
I am no fan of Megan Kelley but this is just wrong. The talk shows of the Main Stream Media spew white hatred every day and nothing happens to them.
Megyn Kelly is a victim of Megyn Kelly. Her abrasive personality made it inevitable that an excuse would eventually be found to fire her.

But yeah, she was unfairly treated by NBC and the public regarding her innocent blackface remarks. I have some joy seeing her get treated as badly as she went after Trump. But her remarks were innocent, and not cause for cancelling her show. NBC had an agenda, and this was their opportunity to dump her show. Kimmel is still on the air, despite him hamming it up with blackface routines. Kelly would never do that. Life sucks, Megyn!
She appointed herself the PC Police when she went after Trump then got nailed herself by the PC Police.
