Isn’t it funny that no one ever does a poll asking what Americans think of the rest of the world?
Europe/Britain have never been friends or allies when being so didn’t directly effect them. The more danger they are in the more they like us. If I were president the first thing I would do is close our embassies in Europe and let them rot.
When the American President stands by his country and becomes its most important advocate, then yes, other countries will dislike it.

Ummm. . .there’s a reason that our founding fathers and mothers left the “old world”. I am so grateful that they did. I also think their first mistake was to not send all of the royalists back after the revolution. The descendants of those royalists are today’s globalists and still wish our great nation ill.

It is not the US President’s job to work for the national interests of those countries. His job is to work for OUR national interests.
The Yurps want to continue to freeload off of Uncle Sugar. They also want global socialism - that means destroying the nation state. Trump is strengthening America and ending the freeloading. It’s no surprise they’re not happy about it.
Having lived in 4 European countries, I gotta tell ya, I never once heard their media report on their relative popularity in the US. I never heard their politicians or talking heads fret about how engaging in this or that policy might adversely affect their popularity with Americans. Why the hell should we worry about our popularity with them? It’s not like we actually need them or like they (other than Britain) actually help with anything.
