The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.

Of course. You understand how the game is played. Even with infinitely more carefully conducted examinations, there is a subjective aspect in reading the reaction display.
Ford added nothing to her prior statements. She wants Mark Judge, who said he doesn’t remember, to tell her the date. She’s now been shown to have lied.
In a normal case, with a burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt, there is no way she would prevail. TV clowns keep saying how powerful and emotional and credible she is. It’s nauseating.
Besides, I'm not even sure this cuts against Republicans. Did you read the S.E. Cupp op-ed in the NY Daily News?

1) For some reason, @rushlimbaugh was initially wrong on his “GOP will lose everything if K isn’t confirmed” and recanted 2 days later. Now he’s back to GOP doesn’t realize they are in a hearing, not a deposition. They absolutely do. All they wanted was to get lies on record.
2) I . . . WE . . . wanted a Sam Watterson, slicing and dicing the crying little Edsel. We all know that would have cost them what little PR they had left. So instead they appear to have decided to focus solely on the “undecided” senators with enough evidence . . .
3) to allow Flakey and Tom Collins to give Judge K the benefit of the doubt. 4) Not sure, but I’m guessing Judge K will get a full summary of Mitchell’s Q&A and her observations before he testifies.
4)Take this to the bank: GOP/Mitchell/Senators will NOT use the “liar” word one time. This is “gosh, it’s horrible this happened to you by someone else, and we’re sorry, but your memory just doesn’t appear quite right that it was Judge K.”
