Now with bogus claim number two against Judge Kavanaugh, Republicans are busy taking notes about using the Democrats Dirty Play Handbook. At some point in the future Democrats will be in charge (God forbid!) and will bring forward their leftists nominees for important appointments. Republicans will have fun finding women or men to come forward with some bizarre accusation that will delay, or end, the appointment. Won't it be fun! Two can play the game!

If Dems got to have a nominee its implies they control Congress and Presidency.
Their Court already would vote no white male could be on Court.
Congress would say Senate votes of Dems count as two and GOP as 1/2 to make up for slavery in 1800s. Court would rule “yes” just like ok to gay marriage. So no worries about Court being all Dem all the time.

Democrats are pit bulls when defending their agenda. Republicans want to get along with them and the Leftist media that hates Republicans, so they cave. The GOP voted for RGB, a Leftist ACLU lawyer, proving they have no principles.
The Democrats/media will ignore them and blow through to a vote for conformation like crap through a goose. The GOP won’t hang together so they hang separately.

You are missing the big picture
Trump can’t affect this, it has already been SNAFU’ed.But Trump’s list - or the candidates it lists - can prevent any recurrence. They must write, and all sign, a letter to the Senate announcing that no future Trump nominee will participate in such 20th Century innovations as nominee visits to senators’ offices, nominee participation in Judiciary Committee hearings, or any televised appearance - with the POTUS or anyone else in the government. And any future Trump nominee to SCOTUS will withdraw his name from consideration if the senate or any senate committee conducts televised hearings or discussions about the nominee.
IOW, any future Trump SCOTUS nominee will be treated with respect. The Republicans, so long as they hold the majority in the senate, will have no choice but to assure it (of course, no Trump nominations will be confirmed if the Democrats are in the majority, so that consideration is moot as a factor in the candidate’s considerations).
