This Old generation in the GOP does not quite understand that times have dramatically change and they are having their arses handed to them big time. Its a generational thing and they don't get it!
There is no time to get them to understand, while we can only stand by and watch the destruction occur. And they think playing nice is how it is done. What a bunch of unbelievable old fart aholes!

Like most pundits, Hunter assumes that it is simply cowardice that stops the Republicans.
Cowardice is their convenient excuse; they want us to think that.

Correct. They are not cowards in the way that Limbaugh, Hannity, and most pundits say. That is giving them more credit than they deserve. They are treacherous leftists in disguise.

This is about protecting Roe v, Wade, and to the left that justifies a lot. Even if Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed, it won’t stop. The Sheldon Whitehouse promise to sic Congressional investigative powers on him if the Dems take one or both houses in November is only the start. I can see him getting the Sarah Huckabee Sanders treatment x10 every time he’s in public in an attempt to force him to quit.
The only thing that might - might - rein it in then would be permanent Secret Service protection or strong statements from the rest of SCOTUS.
