Make that three Vettes! And yes they will be fine because we just had a tree service come and prune and clean up most of the trees on our property. The problem we have is the government not adequately taking care of “their trees.”
But I do find it interesting in view of the fact that the Federal Government “owns” 45% of the land area of California (none of it being for the most part inhabited), that they have not performed their job as “stewards of the land,” and effectively managed it! They don’t need Jerry Brown’s approval to do what needs to be done on most of this state’s forest lands. So while Brown pontificates about the minutae, the Feds forest management policies have led us to where we are today, and it’s not just California, since they own most of the land in the states west of the Mississippi. except perhaps Texas.

And rktman, the pricks own 85% of Nevada! The good news is most of it isn’t forest.
