Liberals project. That’s what they do. He would never consider the farcical notion of replanting trees after harvesting, let alone the insanity that burning underbrush actually protects the trees from wildfires.
I got into a discussion with one once on this very topic. I could sense the shock and disbelief that evil loggers actually replanted trees. Even more shocked when I explained how new hybrid seedlings grow twice as fast as those from previous generations. I’ve got trees planted in ‘92 that are as big as some planted in the late ‘70s. The ones we plant next year are even better! Liberals are dumb, and their emotions get the best of them.

It’s called Forest Management and Fire management/control.
We haven’t had much of that in California and Oregone for 2+ decades.
What we have had is a massive build up of brush and dead trees and then fines on land owners trying to prevent massive fires.
Yes, he was another one of "those extreme, right wing Christians" that didn't worship the creation, rather than the Creator God Almighty!!!

Permits are cash cows for municipalities. They will not be happy.
The general problem is not private forrested areas, as they are in general manged better, in spite of the state of California’s restrictions. The general problem is the state and the Federal forestry management policies that have the most restricttions on pro-active forestry management for PREVENTION of fires; preferring what could be called a more hands off “natural” approach?
Why? They hate capitalism and ANY logging that results in sales of logged trees benefits “capitalism”. They ignore that when it comes to good pro-active ferstry managment for fire prevention, that is a consquence and not the initial objective. Back in the day the U.S. forrest service did a good pro-active management of forrests it managed, and paid its entire budget out of logging sales.
No one should live in a state where private land owners are not allowed to cut down their trees with out a permit.
Such a state is controlled by tyrants
