This is the shot the entire political class (Republican and Democrat) has to take him out. And it appears they’re going for it. He has the support of neither professional political class party. He may have to retreat without any support backing him, but he will be very weakened by this if that happens. Sometimes doing the right thing (trying to engage Russia) can kill you.

He needed to win all his battles while he had no political support behind him...if he’s lost this one, it will hurt, very badly. He’s not a war in the streets kind of President, he’s a builder/negotiator.

Yes, and he has done an admirable job in projecting strength to the public that he can overcome this coup. He dare not say that he has no control over his own DOJ, FBI, or his IC.

But it is obvious that he does not....some in Congress having been very successful getting the coup info to the public, as have the IG reports.

Unfortunately those two entities have no prosecutorial powers.
