In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea.
The US is not drawn in via NATO ??
I had to look up what I have watched. We have been watching some good stuff on netflic. The Ritual was good for the Nordic pagan stuff and the creature/ending.

The basis is that Norway has built a thorium reactor that can power Europe. Norway has a lot of thorium.

I thought it was good. It’s fiction and not to be taken seriously. The political power struggle blossoms in the 2nd season.

Dumped the free Netflix a while back.
Neflix has a lot of good stuff. I do enjoy foreign films and shows though. I liked The Ritual as well. Turned out better than I expected. The Rain was not bad but it’s more teeny bopper. Rare Exports and Trollhunter are good too. I like the horror movies made in Europe, not as much of the gratuitous blood and guts that American horror flicks are saddled with.
I agree. I’m not dropping netflix or Amazon anytime soon. Started watching Goliath with Billy Bob recently.

I don’t know about Norway, but DO NOT be surprised if Hungary, Poland, and other Eastern European countries have the Russians back.
One HUGE DIFFERENCE though - this time the Russians will be INVITED into their countries, and they will be APPRECIATED, as they will ‘clean house’ as needed, due to the EU flooding the rest of Europe with 3rd World Types.
Poland will NEVER have Russia’s back.

Other way around...there won’t be a choice, given what Western Europe is becoming. I agree they certainly PREFER their independence, but they’re stuck.
