All Microsoft employees are temps not a smart move to tell the co. how to operate,when you own a Co. then you can do it.
They’re just worried they’ll have to pay more for landscaping services if people start obeying the law.
As a stockholder I strongly object to this stand. It is not in my personal best interest nor in the interest of the country. Things must have changed drastically in the years since I retired. Used to be employees never told the government what to do and worked to maximize profit. Does Microsoft pay so generously that employees don’t want additional work?

This highlights a real threat in the age where our govt and military use COTS (commercial off the shelf) solutions to save taxpayer money. Historically we worry about reliance on foreign companies or parts. If our agencies and military have to be concerned about service cancellation from US companies that go all SJW, then we will be forced to go back to spending way more money on government developed and owned solutions.
Call them in and laud them for their compassion. Then tell them if they contract is cancelled they will be laid off. Then tell them they have 10 minutes to decide as a group.

Excellent idea! And while they’re at it, tell them that any needed replacements will be illegal immigrants, and oh, by the way, bonuses will now be going towards the care and feeding of illegals.
Stupid leftists call for this stuff because so far, it mainly hurts other Americans. The media especially fell immune from having their jobs taken, and “elites” from “both sides” of the coin know that it’s other Americans who will have to deal with the repercussions of illegals in their communities, and not those self-appointed “elites” in their “elite” communities. All the rest of can do is what we’ve been doing for decades, aka “white flight”, and they’re trying to make that impossible in various ways.
They’re never going to stop this crap until it bites them in their asses, in some way.
Given that MSFT employs around 125,000 people, I’d say this counts as very selective reporting on a fringe element. Agenda-driven fake news at its finest.
