Confusing, since I’m not even sure if it’s real news yet.
It’s not as though I could rely on the media to have the facts straight. If it is true, I’m guessing the president is trading one plus for a minus to obtain his long term goals.
Trump should pay Elon Musk to build a few of these hyper loops and send migrant families and all illegals three hours back into Mexico right next to a consulate if they need it. Good for us. Good for the economy. And eco-friendly to boot.

I hope the public relations benefits from this change are enough to overcome the damage this will do to America. In the long run, we need to deport every single illegal in our country and deny about 99% of the claims for refugee status. To get there, it may be that we have to do this damage in the short term.
If this was true then it means that Trump had bald faced lied at the signing and yesterdays rally.
