Trump: 'We're Not Going to Give Any More Aid' to Countries That Send Illegal Immigrants to U.S.

(CNSNews.com) - "Let's do the right thing," President Trump told a gathering in Washington on Tuesday. He was speaking about legislation to stop unchecked illegal immigration.

But Democrats on Tuesday flatly refused to support legislation, saying it's unnecessary when President Trump could simply adopt a different "policy." Trump indicated that he may adopt a new policy -- one that denies financial aid to countries that send their people fleeing north.

Snip

"We have a chance. We want to solve this problem, we want to solve family separation, I don't want children taken away from parents," Trump said.

And when you prosecute the parents for coming in illegally, which should happen, you have to take the children away. Now we don't have to prosecute them, but then we're not prosecuting them for coming in illegally. That's not good.

We want to end the border crisis by finally giving us the legal authorities and the resources to detain and remove illegal immigrant families altogether and bring them back to their country. We have to bring them back to their country.

Now think of all that aid that we give some of these countries, hundreds of millions of dollars we give to some of these countries, and they send them up.

Well I'm going to go, very shortly, for authorization that when countries abuse us by sending their people up, not their best, we're not going to give anymore aid to those countries. Why the hell should we? Why should we?..."

“A five percent on all goods imported from Mexico.”

How about 50% on all remittances sent to any country where the sender cannot show proof of taxes paid on the money being sent. Let me tell you, this is big business! I was in a Mexican market in Napa a week or so ago and they had two windows and a long line of senders waiting. We should be making sure that those dollars (pesos) leaving our country are tax paid!

“One problem at a time FRiend.”

I disagree! We should have task forces working on everything. There is no reason for us to wait on Mexico being “fixed,” before going after other violators, like India.

I would support arresting a bunch of judges. I hate to say it but only two things can save this country. The people rebelling or a patriotic dictator.

Flame away.

“What is wrong and so dysfunctional about these Governments.”

TD, you have to look where these “$hit holes” got they conquerors from. Virtually every acre of land from the Mexican border to the Tiera del Fuego was colonized by either the Spaniards or the Portuguese. Whereas, America and Canada were colonized by Northern Europeans ( but mind you, not the current $hit that resides in the countries where our forefathers were born). Spain and Portugal themselves have been ungovernable for all of my lifetime, so its not surprising the kind of “leadership” they’ve provided for our Southern Hemisphere. Even a few fleeing Nazis couldn’t fix Argentina, a country that can’t govern itself, but is always itching for a fight with the Brits over the Falkland Islands, or as they would say, the Malvinas!

What good was it doing? Was it getting funneled off by corruption?

I’d want an audit.

No monetary aid to ANY South American
country...period. Let the countries
of South America control each other
if they want their hand in the US
till. This is a stroke of masterpiece
by Trump. Tell any country south,
your fleeing citizens are costing the
US loads of cash. You deserve no aid
from us.

Look at what is happening. Trump says congress should legalize the DACA people in exchange for the wall, reducing chain migration, e-verify etc.

Meanwhile, more new "dreamers" keep arriving, and in spite of of the "zero tolerance" policy, I'll bet the courts will rule that USCIS will have to release them with a promise to appear "later." The next generation of "dreamers."

This may be the most difficult problem the nation faces. The threat is huge.

Three Tweet’s and this whole thing explodes.

“Billions of dollars are wired to foreign countries, every year. Most of that money is earned illegally, from those working in this country illegally, without any income tax or SS taxes being taken out. It’s time the IRS and Treasury Dept start looking into this matter.”

“I will meet with IRS Commissioner and Sec Treasury to discuss this matter, later this week.”

“Long overdue that this money is taxed just like US CITIZENS have to pay taxes on their earnings.”

Let the Liberals/Dem’s start crying about the illegals sending untaxed wages back home and defending them. It’ll be another example of them siding with illegals, over the US taxpayer. Could, potentially, cause a tsunami of legal action to overturn the 16th Amendment. Would love to see Schumer/Pelosi tell the American people that they have to pay income taxes but illegals don’t. That’ll be better than them saying that MS13 members are pillars of society.

And the illegals in the US remit, billions ever year. Wall paid for, within 2 years.

People like him used to. Until they flooded the state with illegals. California is an example of what the Left wants to do to the entire country.

That was brought up a while back and someone stated that they would just find another way. And they’re right. The illegals would find another way.

1. Mail the money ... won’t be long before the Mexicans post office guy realizes this and not one package is delivered, without it first being torn apart, looking for cash. If anything is found, cash is gone, package tossed in incinerator. I’m sorry, we never received it.

2. Carrying it back home ... not feasible either. Once they leave, they’ll lose their jobs. Once the bad guys figure out that they’re carrying large sums of money, they’ll be robbed as soon as they get on the South side of the border. And I doubt the cops will just let them walk on by, either.

3. Someone from the internet will figure out something, I’m sure ... well, that’ll just be a different way to electronically transfer money and can be easily dealt with by the IRS and Treasury. Of course, the only way to do that is to deposit or transfer cash, somewhere and then wire it. So, if the initial step is tightly controlled, they’re kind of screwed. And, I’m thinking that not too many illegals, picking melons are that tech savvy. Then they’ll have to deal with their money being transferred digitally. Won’t take much for anyone to wait for the account to reach a decent amount, shut the site down and then walk away with a ton of cash. They’d have no recourse.

I have to say it was disappointing to see the President at the rally claiming the wall has been started. He touted 1.6 billion that had been used to fund it.

What has gone up so far is NOT THE WALL. Until one of them prototypes is built across that border, there is no wall as was promised.

The loudest chants at that rally were for the wall - it needs to be built NOW.

Money saved by denying aid should go to the wall.

Stop ALL foreign aid, then...

Never understood why we do this. It's like Little Tommy paying Little Frankie to be his friend.

We really need to make our Representatives take a tough stand on this. They think they can send our hard earned dollar to countries that hate us (and isn't even helping those in need) and continue to tax the hell out of us without repercussions.
