The number of refugees admitted to the US has fallen 70 percent during the current fiscal year, setting it on course to fall far short of the Trump administrations targets, according to a new report.
Syrians and Iraqis fleeing violence were hardest hit by the cuts, with the number of Syrians taken in falling by 99 per cent to just 44 fewer than the number rescue workers say were killed in Aprils chemical attack on Douma, the Damascus suburb and the number of Iraqis down by 98 per cent.

Go Trump Go.
a good start.
That’s why we voted for him.
Now, BUILD THE WALL!!!
They say it like it’s a bad thing? That’s still way too high.
Cool, get it down to zero, America’s resources are for Americans.
BUILD THE WALL ... ENFORCE THE LAW !!!
Excellent!
Speed up deportations for some that were let in before.
instead of dropping 70 percent, it should be 100 percent.
Unless they aren't as helpless as they seem in headlines.
And why dont they go to Argentina?
Good. Still, we should not accept any of these fake refugees. And none of those children Laura Bush weeps over.
Winning!
Still waiting for dems and the liberal media to start caring about Americans...
Make it 100% and I’ll be satisfied.
Syrians and Iraqis who are displaced members of ISIS hardest hit!
Winning!
Winning! No wonder the media is crying in their beer these days.
More great Yuge news:-)
Place where I occasionally shop used to have a dozen or more "pop-up" booths in a common area, all selling cheap crap. Windup toys, cheap makeup and jewelery, R/C toys that break as soon as you take them out of the box, and so on. All of them were run by Arabs - dunno which country - and they were all a bunch of sleazeballs. Real loud and pushy, even to kids.
I started avoiding the place, just went, got what I needed and got out. If I want to shop in a 3rd world market, I'll visit the 3rd world.
For the last 8-9 months, though, the popups have been closed and covered up. No more Arabs. What got my attention is that they all closed before Christmas - when they *should* have been getting the most business.
Sez me, "Hmmmm". Interesting coincidence.
I have no problem with legitimate refugees, but the refugee system has been abused. The administration is doing the right thing.
Now, I might be willing to let in South African farmers whose land is being stolen violently, but other than that, I’d continue as we’re going.
