Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs says if President Trump is “deceived” by the Republican establishment and House Speaker Paul Ryan into supporting an amnesty for illegal aliens, it will “most certainly” cost the GOP their majority in the House.
During a segment of Lou Dobbs Tonight, Dobbs blasted a plan by Ryan and Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) which would grant amnesty to at least 1.8 million illegal aliens who have been shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
According to the White House, Trump now supports the amnesty deal, though the president told reporters outside the White House on Friday that he would not sign such a bill.
Dobbs said Ryan and White House officials’ attempt to “deceive” Trump into supporting the amnesty deal would lead to a Democrat majority in the House for the upcoming midterm elections.

Paul Ryan:
1) Holds the second place in line for presidential succession.
2) Holds the most powerful office in the House of Representatives. His job would be considered the pinnacle of a political career for any politician.
3) Holds a safe seat in Congress allowing him to remain in office for decades to come.
Yet, Paul Ryan is not only leaving Congress, he is actively and openly supporting immigration policies the vast majority of his party’s voter base opposes. He does so knowing that passage of an amnesty bill would almost certainly result in the base staying home in the midterm elections, potentially resulting in the House and the Senate being captured by the opposition party. If he is successful with his immigration bill his legacy may be the destruction of his party. Why would he be doing this?
1) Hatred of Trump exceeding any feeling of obligation to constituents, party, or country?
2) Promise of future wealth (corporate board assignments, lucrative lobbying jobs) after leaving office at the end of the year?
3) Praise from his progressive spouse?
4) Promise of support for a future run for POTUS?
Probably all of the above.
Whatever he gets in return it would be a bad deal, this is not only a big deal it is the only deal that will matter. Press 1 for Spanish.
There is a logic problem with all this. If we are mad at Lyin Ryan and his Rino’s because they are pushing Amnesty, that makes run to the rats who are for open borders and getting rid of ICE altogether? Paving the way for Trump’s impeachment. Does that make sense?

This crap has exactly Zero chance in the Senate this year. Ryan’s only hope is that he can find enough house members who will sell out to the Chamber of Commerce that they will commit political suicide and insure the Dem’s take the House. Sincerely, this is the only thing Ryan can hope to achieve.
The President should tell Ryan that he would like to have a completed copy of the proposed legislation.
Tell Ryan that they will be put online for all Americans too read and be left for 90 days so that comments can be made and we can get input from the American people.
After 90 days of comments from the American people I will make my decision on which if any of those bills would be acceptable to me. If either of them are I will then ask the house to vote on it and then hand it off to the Senate for their Reconciliation and vote.

No it doesn't but then again voters rarely make sense. If anything like Ryan's plan is signed by President Trump, the House and Senate will both likely be lost and so will his second term. I don't like it and can't predict how exactly it will happen, but it will.

Amnesty is favored by Republicans because illegals vote Democrat which gives Republucans their permanent minority in Congress.
