The Democrats won't negotiate on Immigration Law to fix it
They are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and should not be risking their children ... their fault, not ours.
There is a TV program called The Guardian that is set in Pittsburg. It is about a wealthy young lawyer convicted of drug charges that has to perform 1500 hours of community service as part of his sentence. The services are rendered is an community legal services agency.
Observation:
An ongoing theme is child services taking away a child from the mother for any of many reasons handed down by a judge who actually does that for a living. Although he and his collegues strive mitghtly to save the family, many perhaps most times the old woman from child services precvails.
Conclusion:
Taking kids from mothers is an everday occurance in progressive American cities

Oh I agree, they should NOT be separated..the second they come to the border you turn them around and send them right back!!! Having these detention centers are ridiculous, they get big screen TV’s, nice comfy beds, pizza, etc etc all on MY taxpayer money, I dont think so..ship their asses back TOGETHER, therefore they are NOT separated

Hugh Hewitt said it was wrong to separate children from their parents. He’s wrong. First of all the parents are negligent of their children by breaking the immigration law. Second, we are actually footing the bill to take care of these children because of their parents’ negligence.

He’s right. This is on all of us. We should have the moral courage to catch them, photograph them, fingerprint them, and have them back in Mexico in 20 minutes—all together as a family in their own country where they belong.

As another FReeper has pointed out, the problem with letting undocumented “families” into the USA is that border officials cannot know if they are real families or child traffickers posing as families.

Dismissing LAW for virtue signaling is as un American as it gets. If parents act in a way to cut THEMSELVES off from their children it isn’t the fault of Americans who have a right to expect the LAW that guards them to be UPHELD.

Un-American it might be. But the border-crashers are, for the most part, un-American too.
In a surprising number of instances, these are not even real families, but an adult who has swept up several perhaps otherwise unrelated children, and then claim “refugee” status, for the children, of course. Separate the children from the persons who claim to be their parents, and watch the reactions of both the children and the attempted border jumpers. If the children show great relief, or if the parents appear to be largely not concerned, that is a pretty serious tell regarding their intentions.
Why are you making that claim now that there is a Republican president Robert? Why were you silent during Obama’s administration? Why aren’t you convincing your Democrat comrades to vote to end the law they created that is responsible for the separation of adults from children? This isn’t just a political attack and you really could care less about the children being separated, is it?
Here is my solution:
Once across the border and captured, ALL (men, women, children, families, etc. etc.) illegal border crossers should be identified, photographed, fingerprinted, submit a DNA sample, have that information entered into a secure data base and then IMMEDIATELY escorted to the border and sent on their way!
Furthermore, ICE should follow the same procedure for ALL illegal aliens captured in the USA!
DEPORT EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM!
