. Cardinal Timothy Dolan blasted the Trump administration’s policy of separating kids from their parents on Friday night, calling it “un-American and unbiblical.”
The White House got into holy hot water this week when Attorney General Jeff Sessions and press secretary Sander Huckabee Sanders both referenced scripture to claim the administration has the moral authority to forcibly take kids away from parents if they cross the southern border illegally. “I mean, that’s just unjust. That’s un-American and unbiblical,” Dolan, leader of New York City’s 2.8 million Catholics, told CNN on Friday night.
Sessions specifically cited the Apostle Paul who in Romans 13 reminded Christians to honor and obey authority.

You know what else is un-American and unbiblical? Breaking the law and it is against the law to enter our country illegally. These criminal Mexicans force their children into a life of crime by making them illegal aliens. They should be humanely captured and immediately sent back to Mexico without a word being said, except “Don’t ever come back”.
There is more than one religious figure that has become an enemy of the American people.
The cardinal wants those illegal aliens for the money!!

And then we have this problem. An acknowledgement by God that if you keep bad company then bad things will happen to you. You yourself will become corrupted.
These verses seem very harsh to me. I would not have the heart to just go and kill people like this. Yet I can see that God is not wanting Christians to mix with that which would corrupt them. This is why immigration has to be selective. And those chosen need to be of proper character. Not criminals and evil doers who will turn your society to the same.

Has the Cardinal expressed any recognition of national sovereignty or the impact of undermining the wages of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS and minorities?
Or, is their some bias in the interest of filling the pews?
Timmy’s got to fill those pews. Will he propose a solution that will keep the kids with their parents while making sure the parents don’t escape, or will he just complain?
Last I heard the Bible is not law in the US.
Tell your priests to quit molesting little boys.

This is not a "Trump administration policy." You can print out binders full of articles from before Trump ever became President about this going on during the Obama years. Yet, only now are people supposedly outraged because it can be used to improve electoral prospects of Democrats. In Cardinal Dolan's case I am going to believe it is due to the false media narrative of phony outrage he is being influenced by rather than intentional "selective memory." The media is lying, and unfortunately, many millions of people in this country trust what they hearing unbeknownst to them the narrative is false.
Why doesn’t the cardinal protest the separation of Manafort from his kids? It’s the same thing.
