Flushing?

Flushing requires a toilet. We don’t need no steenkeen
toilets!

(See, all? Even a vocal supporter of Cali conservatives can
have a sense of humor)

You think the Californians of whom you speak are patrons
of FR? Doubtful.

It’s a message in general terms. Musing.

I’d rather deal with the snow in PA than the totalitarian lunatics in CA.

Not even a contest.

New California Law Limits How Much Water People Can Use – Including Monitoring Toilet Flushes,

California, the state where illegals are legal and toilet flushing isn't.

California, the golden brown state.

The libs promote low flow toilets to “save water.” The stuff goes nowhere, streaks up everything, and requires constant flushing, cleaning, and plunging. The Soviets truly came here.

Desalinization plants would make a lot of sense in California, but so would using more of their available fresh water that they dump into the ocean.

Absolutely true. We pi$$ away millions of acre-feet each year by sending perfectly good water from our reservoirs to the ocean to keep alive 6 delta smelts that nobody has been actually able to find in the last several years. If environmentalists want to restore "natural" conditions, they should remember that, prior to dams and reservoirs, the rivers would go down to a trickle by early fall and brackish water would work its way well upstream.

We also have added 16M people since 1980 with no increase in reservoir capacity. Modest new reservoir capacity approved by the voters a few years ago has been stalled by the California state "government" and remains in limbo. A push to tear down several existing dams to restore original conditions continues. A large fraction of the electorate in California is certifiably insane, as we will see demonstrated again in today's primary election results.

" This is all about control. If you control the water and food, you control the people."

The citizens of California must be livid. They pay outrageous taxes--California'a ranking with 10 highest income tax states on the FTA's 2016 list were:

    California 13.3%
    Oregon 9.9%
    Minnesota 9.85%
    Iowa 8.98%
    New Jersey 8.97%
    Vermont 8.95%
    District of Columbia 8.95%
    New York 8.82%
    Hawaii 8.25%
    Wisconsin 7.65%

They pay their high gas taxes--California's ranking with the ten highest gas taxes:

1. Pennsylvania
2. California
3. Washington
4. Hawaii
5. New York
6. Michigan
7 Indiana
8. Florida
9. Connecticut
10.New Jersey

And California's cost of living ranking with the 10 highest states:

1. Hawaii
2. District of Columbia
3. New York
4. California
5. Massachusetts
6. Alaska
7. Connecticut
8. Maryland
9. Vermont
10. Rhode Island

They are among the ten most expensive states to live:

1. Hawaii
2. New York
3. California
4. Massachusetts
5. Alaska
6. Connecticut
7. Maryland
8. Vermont
9. RHODE ISLAND
10. New Jersey

The citizens of California break their backs trying to live in the third most expensive state to live in the United States. And for all their hard work, their government puts them on water restrictions. Something is not right!

Sort of like the EPA mandated gas cans. Spill more than the old ones.

Maybe California will set up an informer system just like was done in the old USSR. And children who inform on their parents will be given little ‘environmental hero’ buttons.

There will soon be more focus on flushes and scrutiny over showers with a new law signed in by the governor.

I see widespread violent unrest, voter initiatives, recalls and impeachments, not by the usual thug subcultures, but by the working private segment middle class being dragged down into poverty territory, and the indolent taker idle cultures becoming the new middle class.

True. They won't be able to use presssure washers to clean the human feces off the sidewalks now.

That would not be surprising at all.
