I knew her, we lived in the same town. She was a radical but I was political, working through Right To Life and doing pickets and gathering signatures on pro-life petitions, working through the system.

Look, I understand when an occasional off-color comment about a girl’s appearance fits the discussion. For example, when Stormy Daniels is the subject. Obviously, the whole subject matter of the article would be related in that case. But that does not apply to every situation. Do you think your comments would be appropriate if we were all standing around waiting for this woman to arrive from her long stay in prison? How would you feel if that was a friend or family member whose zeal against abortion went beyond the norm of protests and she broke a law and ended up in prison? Would you be ok with other pro-lifers ganging up on her to address how unattractive she is? It sounds like something I’d expect to hear over at the DU, not on FR.

I mean, after all, you are God’s gift to women, right?

It is an unfortunate consequence of auto-erotic self-asphyxiation that sometimes people accidentally die in a circumstance that is very disgraceful and hurtful to any friends or family who discover it. So, actually, I do NOT recommend it.

On the other hand, if the worth of all females is valued by you on the basis of whether they can sexually excite you, then you probably will not be missed by many. Rather than offing yourself, I recommend changing this aspect of your character.

Otherwise, perhaps you should start a thread where you both can find likeminded members of this forum who think women exist for your mere sexual amusement. You can post and exchange photos of females dressed in very skimpy bikinis and what not—girls such as your mother, sister, and daughters. How does that sound? Great idea, huh? Will that help you both to be more sexually aroused? Do you think your mother, sisters, and daughters have value and a purposeful existence otherwise?

Personally I’d rather not engage in conversations on such sordid subjects, but comments like yours scream for you to get a little taste of your own medicine. If you wish to live in a fantasy land, by all means go ahead.  We are not all standing around waiting for her to be released from prison, and I never suggested anyone gang up on her.  You are a nut-job.  Her family wasn't here, and I don't think we have her friends here either.  Even so, I think they might see some levity in the comment.  It certainly wasn't meant to be a vicious attack.  In truth, she violated a rather serious law to be placed in prison.  We engage in levity here, and I did so this time.  As for this being something you'd expect to see over at D.U., and not here, we see this type of levity here constatntly.  It was meant as a lark, and it wasn't necessary for you to go postal over it.  If you didn't like it, you could have moved on.  Not everyone is going to appreciate every joke or ribbing that takes place here or anywhere.

You moron, I did not make a nasty comment.  I stated something to the effect she was guilty based on looks.  It was a freakin joke.  I didn't wish any harm to her, and I never suggested she should have something bad happen to her.  As for Laz, that's an inside joke that has been roaming around the forum for a decade or more.  Laz laughs as much as anyone else.  It's just light hearted humor.  None of it is intended to be even close to reality.  We don't and he doesn't want any harm to come to this woman.
