Inspector General? A second Special Prosecutor?
Forget that noise. It will take years. Everything bad about Republicans will be leaked. Everything bad about Democrats will be concealed.
Indictments?
If any, the trials will be in Washington D.C., and no Democrat will be convicted.
Trump can end this political crisis tomorrow...
(1) Issue blanket pardons for anyone - Republican or Democrat - who has been or will be touched by these investigations.
(2) Declassify and publicly release EVERY document in the Executive Branch that even touches on this scandal.
Let American voters decide who is corrupt, and who can be trusted.

And just to rub salt in the wound, Trump could say he got the idea for declassifying from the finale of Madam Secretary:

You mean let the stupid illiterate voter decide. You are assuming the lying media will not lie about the declassifications. The sheeple will listen to the lying media narrative every time. Hence the reason the idea was pushed by media in the MS series starring the gorgeous Tia Leoni.
While I abhor the idea of none of these people being held accountable for their crimes, common sense says you are correct as the pool for reasonable jurors in DC is nonexistent. I hate this as I want to see the Clintons behind bars because the Rosenbergs were executed for less.
