I have met Stone and thought I knew the downanddirty and about him, but never heard about the ventures into wife-swapping, let alone placing ads for said activity-—you’d think it woulda been brought up and circulated long ago if there was truth to it. But he continues to pop up here and there and is presented in his appearances on FOX, as something of a shrewd insider/guru-—I never expect anyone like Stone to be a moral avatar (remember, we’re talking about American Politics) but still am surprised about the wife-swapping, (which I am assuming he lied about initially, then fudged his way into admitting it was “true, but....”.

That's probably correct. Mueller will issue a report criticizing the Trump campaign for meeting with Russians but it will say nothing came of the meetings. Meanwhile Hillary who actually did take info from the Russians to use against Trump will waltz. I think there will be a few firings on the FISA abuse, but spying on a poltiical opponent like Brennan did will be converted to a charge of improper paperwork.
The reality is Trump is president and fully able to MAGA. All he really needs now is to depress the democrats and media so they don't turn out in November.
