I don’t know.

I feel it. People are getting pissed.

I do believe the driveby media and democrats are plowing new ground, ground that more and more voters are fleeing.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord
I’ve been waiting for this moment, all my life, Oh Lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord, Oh Lord

Just as interesting as the Dem/epub spread are the trends on the ‘don’t know’, ‘the party’ and ‘won’t vote’ lines which are trending towards an undecided electorate up for grabs. The Dem and MSM BS tsunami has crested.

“I’m seeing an awful lot of people saying they’ve woken up and will never vote for a democrat again.”

I have too. Some are family members. My sister has always been a liberal but she said no way she will vote for them. She likes her tax cuts and the extra money she gets on her checks has helped her a lot.

My brother is a democrat and it’s all about the tax cuts, gun rights and securing the border. He will be voting GOP from here on out.

This is weird. Rs way up among adults, barely up among “registered,” and down .5 among “likely” voters. Normally, it runs exactly the other way.

Regardless, these are #s that would make the DNC suicidal.

>> What is called RINO or GOPe reflect the overall view of the Republican voters, like it or not. That is who runs campaigns and get elected. The tail is not going to wag the dog. <<

Riiiiiight. That’s why Jeb Bush crushed Trump in the GOP primaries. More like: the Republican voters have often voted for whoever they thought had the best chance of winning, whether GOPe or not. Usually that meant GOPe for president. (Dole, McCain, Romney). After the Bush-McCain-Romney debacle, they voted their OWN heads, instead of trusting their relatively mainstream news sources (Fox News, Nat Review, etc.) while the radio commentators (Rush, Hannity, etc.) shifted more populist with them.

Once they lose you, once you start questioning them, it all falls apart and people never go back, and it only goes one way. Conservatives do not convert into liberals, only liberals convert into conservatives (by and large, maybe very few exceptions).

So they always pander to the young, yet now they’re losing them too.

Then there’s Kanye! It seems to not just be shift but a full on implosion.

“If people have to juggle flaming chainsaws while riding their bicycles to the vote, they will.”

Agreed. The ‘Rats (my first use of the term, resisted using pejoratives online since the ‘90s) are fired up like we are. The LSM is attacking the President and his allies more zealously than ever. Huge advantage for the Left historically for a few reasons.

In ‘16 the media had a very large percentage of voters wary of the future president because of all the “smoke” they were generating. So much tumult and so much of the country was convinced there HAD to be something there. It couldn’t ALL be fake news.

Remember how many non-Trump supporters we had once upon a time? Good people, FReepers, but I think to a person the ceaseless negative media reporting colored their views.

How many never-Trumpers in the conservative media have joined us? How overwhelmingly loyal are former conservative detractors? Meaning “real” conservatives.

The President is a known quantity now. Americans remember the abysmal economy of the Hussein years. Many big promises but things always got worse. Eight grueling years that seemed like they would never end. By every metric the nation was precipitously in decline.

In spite of amplifying and authenticating the Hussein administration’s lies about the true state of things, the media even described the unending malaise as “the new normal.”

The economy today speaks for itself. Exceeding EVERYONE’S expectations. By every traditionally important metric, America, is improving.

It’s a friggin’ miracle. I don’t believe the media’s shrill, incessant, distractions and demonizations aren’t going to persuade very many not on the far left (already thoroughly persuaded) they, and their families and communities, they aren’t doing and feeling a whole lot better.

Leftist candidates and the DNC won’t have the advantage of the entire Executive Branch weaponized against them. Operating in tandem with the same media. I believe many of those operators will shortly be indicted for felonies.

Trump uses the presidential bully-pulpit better than any president in our history.

These mid-terms won’t be anything like 2016. Your flaming chainsaws analogy is right. We really need to start thinking about what will happen after the President’s second term.

” ... aren’t going to persuade” of course should read, “are going to persuade.”

Hate going back and reviewing posts on a larger screen and seeing the dumb errors after-the-fact.

Great post, and I agree. Oh and I figured out the typo, no problem. Miracle? Yep, and if it isn't, it's pretty darn close.☺

Assuming the poll is honest, and that’s a big assumption I admit, it probably would mean that the President is motivating nonvoters to register and vote.

Btw, I'm thinking by then, the end of Trump's 2nd term, his momentum will be at such a level, it will continue for many years beyond the Trump era. The comparisons they'll be able to lay out such as the pre-Trump era VS the post Trump era, will be significant and eye opening. Not to mention the conga-line of criminal corruption put on public display for the past 2 years by the Democrats, which can and will be used as a reminder to keep America great.☺

I won’t be satisfied unless it is a unanimous vote for conservatives at the actual election. I hate commies.

Their stated support for MS-13 is probably caving their heads in as well.

and we’ve barely even started with the investigation of Obama’s illegal election interference, which should help drag down the Democrat brand even more

Ah, but I think this has already begun. People are turning off the mainstream media’s version of all of this, and they are awakening to the stage that has been set to serve justice to the malefactors.

Didn’t I just read that about two thirds of American think the economy was good, and that over 60% gave Trump some credit for the good economy?

At the same time, the media ratings are at all-time lows. Don’t discount that.

Put two and two together and the great awakening is happening now, right before your eyes.

Historic!

You’re invested in defeatism. Why hang around here on FR?

Democrats’ so called “assured” Blue wave, 2018 Election Dreams Could End Up as a Blue Wave Nightmare! If they were on track to beat us, the DNC would not be borrowing money!

Dem’s 2018/20 Blue Wave shown below:

Thanks to Navy Patriot and ObozoMustGo2012 for the above!
