So Bernie Sanders is just saying he will do what the dems have been doing since President Trump was elected; fight him every step of the way. Got it. Just a campaign slogan; not really newsworthy.

Someone should tell this socialist he is in the wrong country. His country is someplace like Venezuela where the elections are rigged because the system is socialist/corrupt. These Days the terms ‘socialism’, ‘leftism’ and ‘corruption’ are interchangeable.

Since Bernie was kicked out of a commune in Vermont (1971) for not wanting to work, he’s done nothing positive for the state.
Chittenden County is the cesspool here, and the tens of thousands of college students, all possessing the right to vote where they attend school, will ensure Burlington and the surrounding cities will be progressive forever.

One third of VTers are on Medicaid. There are 42 separate state programs for ‘the poor’, and it’s become a cottage industry to avoid having to work. The schools are among the most expensive public schools in the country; it’s now cheaper to send a kid to the University of VT than to high school. Half of the kids graduating high school aren’t proficient in either science or math.

Bernie’s mantra of ‘tax the rich’ has trickled down to the middle class to support all the progressive giveaways.

Karl Marx HATED the middle class.
He HATED them.
He wanted their blood FLOWING in the streets.

“The Communist Manifesto” is a how to manual for GETTING RID of the middle class.

But you middle class Marxists just love Bernie and his Socialism. :)

Party filing deadline is May 31. No Republican is even on the radar according to the green Pages.

Candidate list (4)
Candidate Democratic Folasade Adeluola
• FEC S8VT00117

Candidate Democratic
Jon Svitavsky
• FEC S8VT00133

Candidate Peoples
Jasdeep Pannu
• FEC S8VT00125

Candidate Independent Senator Bernard “Bernie” Sanders
• FEC S4VT00033; 31 Mar 18; Tot $5,416,744; Dsb $2,315,255

Ballotpedia also lists another independent Brad Peacock whose webpage does not post any positions.

We should never leave a nomination vacant even if there is no chance at beating the incumbent. In this case he is 74 years old. If he were to drop dead on June 1st, we would have pissed away an easy opportunity.

In Maine we have a Republican and a Dem running against Angus King. Some in the party are not happy with the Republican and a lot of dems don’t like their guy running to the left of Angus. Angus is 72 but fit as a fiddle. As an independent he cannot be replaced if something happens to him leaving two relatively lightweight candidates to duke it out.

Get this, weirdo with a top hat, H. Brooke Paige, who ran in the 2012 GOP Senate primary and the 2014 and 2016 rat primaries for Governor AND AG because apparently Vermont allows that, is running for several posts this year.

He’s on the ballot as a Republican for LT Gov, Treas, Sec of State, Auditor, AG, US Senate, and US House. That’s EVERY statewide race other than Governor

And other than US Senate, where there are a couple of other candidates, he appears to be the only Republican who made the ballot in any of those races.

Good news, the State House Minority Leader is running for LT Governor.

And some chick who is supposedly a sales Rep for a newspaper filed to run for the House seat.

But Paige is unopposed and thus will be nominated to run for AG, Auditor, Sec of State and Treas

He has 3 foes for the Senate nomination to take on Sanders, a late qualifier was.......Rocky De la Fuente who is now running in like 6 states and is looking at adding Delaware and Hawaii to the list. He says he wants “to prove just how ludicrous the election process has become.”
