[FULL TITLE] Mueller said he could wrap up probe by Sept. 1 if he can interview Trump by mid-July, Giuliani tells Fox News

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has told President Trump's legal team he should be able to wrap up the Russia investigation by Sept. 1 if he is able to interview Trump by mid-July, Rudy Giuliani told Fox News on Sunday.

Giuliani said he and Mueller spoke about an end date to the investigation approximately two weeks ago. During that conversation, Giuliani told Mueller that any interview of Trump by the special counsel would be contingent on knowing when the probe would wrap up.

Giuliani added that he wants Mueller's investigation wrapped up by Sept. 1 so that it doesn't affect Republican chances in November's midterm elections.

Mueller should be fired by September 1. That will wrap up this “investigation”.

Mueller should end this phony farce now. He doesn’t need to interview Trump. Trump has not done anything to require an interview.

Perhaps someone needs to be grilling Mueller for his crimes.

But said nothing about the Middle East investigation.

And the Trump brain trust including Guilliani goes along with it?

Where is the holler that

1) this “Special Counsel” POSITION is not supported by the Constitution, and

2) this “Special Counsel” PROCEDURE is unconstitutional. This investigation - including searches and possible seizures - without the 4A requirement of probable cause. An unconstitutional open-ended investigation of search/seize until you get probable cause? Totalitarian regime tactics.

So far, I’m not impressed with Trump’s counsel team. Apparently they like most others, have forgotten about the Constitution - that it is the Supreme Law of the land over the feds and federal actions.

No!!!!! It’s. A. Trap.

Herr Müeller will drag it out way past 9/1 anyway, if Trump testifies. In fact, it’s the perfect excuse.

Shut. It. Down. Now!!!

In the NYT version of the story, Mueller promised to wrap up the “obstruction by Trump” part of the inquiry by Sept 1.

Which of course would mean that collusion delusion would continue, with investigators for months and months more rooting around in Trump businesses and the lives of anyone who dared help his campaign, looking for any crimes they can try to pin on people.

If Trump is not a target as Mueller claims, then why does Mueller need to talk to him? Who is Mueller alleging did the obstruction, if not Trump?

And if Trump is the target, then certainly he should not do an interview. Mueller is trying to hold out the false promise that if Trump would only agree to talk, then it will all be out of the way before the election so as not to hurt the Republicans. Lies.

No Trump interview/perjury trap.

DITTO!!!

Rudy says they’re not going to let Trump fall into a trap. It’s too dangerous. There’s NO reason to talk to the enemy. There’s no valid investigation because there’s NO CRIME. If we had an attorney general with a pair of balls this would never be happening!!!
