Perhaps Brennan is acknowledging an early mistake but is admonishing the others that continued the coup; in the end, it will have been the ongoing Special Council that brought them all down.
Most, if not all politicians, are demonic narcissists. They have not a molecule of love for their fellow man within their hearts. They have willingly driven out any semblance of empathy, remorse, or sense of brotherhood. They have no conscience - and “gaslighting” their fellow countrymen is their first recourse, no matter the subject. These then are incorrigible sociopaths and psychopaths.
In the present political climate, among the ruins of the former United States of America - that nation which at one time, long ago, was a constitutional republic governed by laws, where true justice was at least a sincerely pursued ideal - only a sociopath would want to run for any public office, and be willing to remain in close proximity to the bottom-feeding slugs that presently occupy Washington D.C. and most state legislatures.
Don’t go so over the top. Nunes, Gowdy, Gohmert, Grassley ... there are many who do not support this attempted coup. But probably not 50% of the compromised republicants.
If the lying mislim prick seeks an audience with Trump, Secret service better search him thoroughly, cavities and all, and keep him five yards from the President at all times, with SS on either side of the CiC. Brennan is a Muslim, which means he is a profound liar and prone to jihad.
To me he doesn’t look stupid, he looks like an evil, unhappy person.

Compare the looks in the picture below to Brennan. There is more than a faint resemblance, particularly with the guy on the left.

Respectfully disagree. Cicero’s statement was directed at the public generally and can’t reasonably be regarded as conveying a threat.
Neither does the fact the historical figure Brennen quoted was murdered lend any support to the notion.
