John McCain: It 'Wasn’t Incorrect' to Say Rand Paul Was 'Working for Vladimir Putin'
Reason ^ | May. 16, 2018 1:19 pm | Matt Welch

In March 2017, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) successfully delayed for 11 days Senate ratification of Montenegro's entry into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). America's leading advocate for NATO expansion, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) responded by accusing Paul of "achieving the objectives of Vladimir Putin...of trying to dismember this small country."

"I repeat again," McCain said then, remarkably. "The senator from Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin."

Perhaps even more remarkably, though not very surprisingly, McCain is unapologetic about that accusation in his valedictory new memoir, The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations. "Senator Paul didn't appreciate that, and I'll grant that it was an intemperate thing to say," McCain writes, with co-author Mark Salter. "But it wasn't incorrect. He might not have worked wittingly for Putin, but he was doing exactly what the Russian wanted done."

Shucks.....Senator, John McCain’s book has not yet been released for sale yet, by Amazon.com & others, but it has plummeted from #1 to #46 in little over a week.

One would have to conclude that John McCain ain’t the greatest writer in the world. In fact, John McCain ain’t the greatest of anything other then being guilty of treason, being a turncoat, low life piece of human scum & vermin, that hates The USA. SATAN in “Hell” awaits his arrival.

I especially like this part:

Senator Paul didn't appreciate that, and I'll grant that it was an intemperate thing to say," McCain writes, with co-author Mark Salter.

In other words McCain said, "Diaper, bother please, whisky, plane down, fuck you.". And it was interpretered as such.

Using McCain’s own logic about Rubio working for Putin’s goals, the same would apply to him and Kerry when they signed the friendship agreement with Hanoi that wrote off known American POWS and MIAS from any further diplomatic inquiries as to their fates.

Some POWS was known from photos as being alive (Lt. Ron Dodge) on the cover of LIFE magazine being paraded through Hanoi, yet he came home in a cigar box (probably tortured to death like at least 12-21 others).

I once had to tell a young lady that her father, either a POW or MIA wasn’t coming home, that he was dead, after the final flight from Hanoi of our remaining POWS.

McCain sold out his brothers for his own political aggrandizement, goals of being president, and superego.

He is the John Kerry of the Air Force turnees.

Senator McCain needs to be told by Senator Paul that he works for Saudi Arabia and Al-Qaeda jihadists in Libya and Syria.

That’s the real foreign influence over this country, not Russia.

I didn’t necessarily agree with Rand about not letting Montenegro join NATO, but his position appears to be a principled one (ie we shouldn’t be paying for any more countries defenses ergo NATO shouldn’t get any new members),

Enough with this “Marsha Marsha Russia” crap every lib and their uncle is spewing.

The Democrat from Arizona with an “R” next to his name, Brought to you by his submission to the Democrats to keep his sorry ass out of jail, like the rest of the Keating 5. He did sell his soul completely then.

o all of his defendeers today who point to his service, I submit like I have elsewhere;

Who was the HERO of Ticonderoga?
Who was the HERO of Saratoga?

Answer that in the context of McCain’s HERO status.

My point, once a hero is not always a hero.

No one cares. McCain is hated by millions, his book tells the entire story of his uselessness. In a bit more then one week as a new listing on Amazon books.com, McCain’s book has gone from #1 to #53 on the amazon best seller listings, and dropping. The book was scheduled to go on sale, May 22, 2018. It can only be found on the “Bargain Book Shelves”..it is so bad.

I feel bad for him. One of two things are going on here and neither is good. His brain cancer is beginning to show itself in his personality and comments....or....he is a dying man who has a lot of bitter and unresolved issues he’s decided to take to the grave.

Just go in peace John, for the sake of you, your family, and America.

The anti-American mental conditioning the VC did on Senator Songbird was either very effective or found a willing subject.

Only a seriously crazy person spends their last weeks on earth trashing people who could care less.

I was going to be charitable and say that the brain tumor is probably clouding his better judgment, but then I recalled that Juan has been equally petty and vindictive his entire political career, long before he had cancer.
