“Did he sustain torture for a time before cracking and recording some stuff the enemy?”

Yes, and it was severe.

He was a special target because his dad was an admiral. What he went through, no man would endure without cracking.

To include John McCain.

But that’s not an excuse for being a scumbag politician upon his return.

Q: Anyone know if McCain plans to be late to rest in Arlington?

If so, and McCain has committed sedition, he should never be allowed burial in Arlington.

Songbird aka No Name left men in Vietnam. He sealed the records of sightings and information.

John McCain is no war hero – he has covered up POW’s left behind in Vietnam for years

I know it is not a popular opinion here, but I agree with you. Based on descriptions in The Hanoi Commitment, by Capt. James Mulligan, and When Hell Was in Session, by Adm. Jeremiah Denton, I will need to be convinced via hard evidence that John McCain collaborated with the North Vietnamese. Both of these memoirs were written relatively soon after the release of the POWs, and neither man had a bad word to say about McCain.

I think I’ll let YOU do your own research. A good source would be statements from other Americans who were imprisoned with him. They are good sources of HIS BEHAVIOR and how THEIR behavior and treatment varied from his.

If you’re incapable of doing your own research, ask a smart high-schooler.

His injuries were from not following proper ejection procedures, not torture.

How do you know that?

He did that strictly for political reasons, and I cannot forgive him for it - but I still don’t think he collaborated with the North Vietnamese while he was a prisoner.

http://www.pythiapress.com/wartales/McCain-Shootdown.htm

“As other pilots saw it, John McCain, quite simply, had got himself shot down.

But McCain also made another error in the next four to six seconds after he was hit. He failed to use the proper procedure he had been taught for ejecting. As a result, he injured himself critically, breaking both arms and his right leg.”
