Last Wednesday, senior FBI and national intelligence officials relayed an urgent message to the White House: Information being sought by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes could endanger a top-secret intelligence source. Top White House officials, with the assent of President Trump, agreed to back the decision to withhold the information. They were persuaded that turning over Justice Department documents could risk lives by potentially exposing the source, a U.S. citizen who has provided intelligence to the CIA and FBI, according to multiple people familiar with the discussion and the persons role.

If the secret source is John Brennan irMcShamey I want to know
What happened to the right to confront your accuser?
They are using this asset to try and remove a sitting POTUS. If that is the case, he must be reviled to the American people so we can see what they are doing. No single human asset is more important or who’s identity is more important then the most powerful person in the world, the POTUS.
I think I just saw a headline that DOJ invited Nunes and Gowdy for a closed door meeting. Gave themselves enough time to draft some type of file on this phantom individual, I’m sure. If I’m Nunes and Gowdy, I want the motherf*cker in the room and available for questions.
If Gowdy is as good as he thinks he is, he’ll know within a couple of questions if the source is full of sh*t.
Revealing his name would reveal that the application to the FISA court was not only dubious in light of the unverified nature of the Clinton-Putin dossier, but was, in fact, an outright fraud since he was the target of the 701 surveillance request.
Carter knows this, which is why he's doing pro se representation of his case, and why he appears on news programs shooting his mouth off with complete impunity: he knows perfectly well that if the DOJ ever comes after him seriously he can put an end to the careers of everybody on the 7th floor and several judges on the FISC.
Gowdy turned evil some time ago. He is no longer to be trusted.
Makes complete sense to me. But why would Trump agree to withhold this info? Is this part of the 007 Top Secret, Super Duper Plan to unseal 1.3 Trillion Indictments and put millions of people in Gitmo? /s
Agree. But, if he just might have a shred of integrity left that, he might actually do something. Maybe. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
But, we do have to remember that he apparently thinks rather highly of Mueller for some odd, unknown, corrupt reason.
Could it be Sessions? Would explain everything.
In my opinion, Obama and ValJar both are waist deep in all of this.
Not Page, only was with the campaign only about a month.
It’s Jeff Sessions, sure would explain he in-actions.
Hillary or Obama.
People who are traitors and/or seditionists need to be identified, taken to trial and receive extreme punishment. Let the truth out. Let the chips fall where they may...or let the “chips” hang from the neck.
How can people not see the seriousness of what this cabal has done?
If we were to just open our doors to allow Congress to come and rummage through the files, that would be a serious infringement on the separation of powers, and it might resolve a dispute today, but it would have negative repercussions in the long run, and we have a responsibility to defend the institution, Rosenstein said.
Thats what its really about. Not national security.
I am thinking the position and safety concerns for this “ source” are being vastly overstated.
Unless they are worried about Arkancide

BULL CRAP! If an America is providing BOGUS intelligence to Mueller, he/she DESERVES TO BE EXPOSED for the lying piece of human excrement he/she is no matter who he/she is. They should be run out of Washington and NEVER/EVER BE BELIEVED AGAIN and never/ever receive one cent from the government!
The Constitution grants specific oversight powers to Congress, you moron. No separation of powers issue whatsoever, just a desire for CYA from the DOJ.
