I found this when I was searching for news about the court appearance today... I don’t think anyone has zeroed in on this particular tidbit yet. We are going to learn that Mueller had his dirty fingers in a lot of rotten things in this country in the past nearly 20 years!!!! In addition to this link and excerpt, there was also Blago’s prosecution and conviction at the hands of US Attorney Fitzpatrick, buddy of then FBI Director Mueller..and prosecutor of Scooter Libby...

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-05-06/mueller-investigation-jeopardy-witch-hunt-accusations-play-out-court

“”Let’s not forget about the time Mueller’s team at the FBI massively screwed up the 2001 anthrax case after 9/11 - ruining the life of SAIC employee Steven Hatfill when it mysteriously leaked that he was the FBI’s prime suspect. Mueller assured Congress in a closed-door January, 2003 session that Hatfill was their man based on shaky evidence which was later deemed unreliable. Effectively, he needed a scalp. Hatfill was professionally and financially ruined until he sued the US Government for $5.8 million.

“It’s like death by a thousand cuts,” Hatfill, who is now 56, says today. “There’s a sheer feeling of hopelessness. You can’t fight back. You have to just sit there and take it, day after day, the constant drip-drip-drip of innuendo, a punching bag for the government and the press. And the thing was, I couldn’t understand why it was happening to me. I mean, I was one of the good guys.” -The Atlantic””

That’s what I don’t understand. I guess China could pass a law saying it’s illegal to talk bad about China then get interpol to arrest us?

Not to be outdone, Story Daniels’ lawyer and resident scumbag Avennatti, somehow illegally obtained some of Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen’s private financial records in violation of US law, esp. the Banking Privacy Act and related records protection laws.

Plus the fact that Avennatti got the personal financial records of another “Michael Cohen” is slandering him in the public.

I’ll bet anyone here $5.00 (all I’ve got right now - major car repairs, you know), that Avennatti is going to be fined big money, maybe be sentenced to jail, and will have his law license at minimus, suspended for 6 months if he isn’t disbarred for years or life.

Time to remember that the Clinton/Obama corrupted IRS officials Kosiken and Lerner are no longer in charge, if not out of office, so honest IRS officials can do a straight investigation of Avennatti and his illegal actions.

Boy, wouldn’t it be nice to have real law and order in the government agencies corrupted by the Clintons/Reno and Obama/Holder/Lynch.

DRAIN THE SWAMP. DISBAR DISHONEST LAWYERS, WHICH MEANS THE DEMOCRATS WILL BE RECRUITING NEW ONES FOR THEIR CASES RIGHT OUT OF LAW SCHOOL (where only the communists corrupt them, plus that idiot Jeffrey Toobin).

I will admit - I laughed at the video. Is there some source(s) for his statement that some of those indicted had not worked for the company since 2014? If so, that would demonstrate some major incompetence on the part of somebody....

It appeared to me that this was something that had already been investigated at some point (who knows, maybe long before the election, and the DAG gave it to the SC because it dealt with Russians. We already know they were both for and against both candidates so the minuscule impact for either candidate seems like a wash.

Bizarre - don’t be surprised if they don’t dismiss the case instead of turning over discovery.

A speedy trial?

Now there’s a foreign concept to American jurisprudence.

Most defendants waive their right to a speedy trial at the urging of their defense attorney under the pretext that they need more time to pu together a defense when it’s really so they can bill far more hours.

The fact that the Treasury IG is reacting to this leak so quickly gives me hope.

And if you don't give them the hours guess who's going to loose in court.

In this particular case, it’s a very good move by the defense because they have very good reasons the indictments were obtained only for public consumption in an effort to convince the ignorant public that there is something to Mueller’s witch hunt. It’s going to backfire.

Hamlet:
There’s letters seal’d, and my two schoolfellows,
Whom I will trust as I will adders fang’d—
They bear the mandate, they must sweep my way
And marshal me to knavery. Let it work;
For ‘tis the sport to have the enginer
Hoist with his own petard, an’t shall go hard
But I will delve one yard below their mines
And blow them at the moon.
Hamlet Act 3, scene 4, 202–209

In other words, the sealed indictments are bombs set by untrustworthy ‘fanged adders” and the prosecutors will be blown up by their own bombs. What a beautiful description by the Bard of Avon of our present situation.
