Special counsel Robert Muellers week just keeps getting worse. First a federal judge chewed his team out Friday for lying about the scope of its investigation and seeking unfettered power.
The same afternoon, Muellers team practically begged another federal judge to delay court proceedings in its case against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities who allegedly interfered in the 2016 presidential election. That judge basically said, No!
In an order issued Saturday, U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich specifically denied a request by Muellers office to delay its first hearing in the Russian indictment case, offering no reason for her decision, according to Politico.
Talk about the hard knock life for poor ol Mueller. Sad!
The latest bout of heart-aching pain and misfortune started for the special counsel after he indicted the Russians in February:
The arrogant witch hunt leader assumed the affected Russians would simply ignore any future court proceedings since they clearly live outside his jurisdiction. He assumed wrong.
Last month a team of Washington lawyers reportedly appeared out of nowhere and notified the court that they represent Concord Management and Consulting, one of the companies targeted by Mueller.
The move was reportedly designed to force Muellers team to turn over relevant evidence to the Russian firm and perhaps even to bait prosecutors into an embarrassing dismissal in order to avoid disclosing sensitive information.
And apparently the move worked like a charm, since Muellers team quickly filed a delay request in a desperate bid to avoid handing over sensitive documents.
Instead of just admitting the real motivation behind their request, however, Muellers hotshots tried to spin a yarn about how they were worried that Concord Management had not yet been served its court papers.
Until the Court has an opportunity to determine if Concord was properly served, it would be inadvisable to conduct an initial appearance and arraignment at which important rights will be communicated and a plea entertained, his team whined.
That is especially true in the context of this case, which involves a foreign corporate defendant, controlled by another, individual foreign defendant, that has already demanded production of sensitive intelligence gathering, national security, and foreign affairs information.
Uh huh
Well, sorry, Mr. Mueller, but your request has been DENIED.
Mr. Mueller. Meet Mr. Curb.
Next stop, storm drain.
They're worried that Concord Management hadn't yet been served its court papers even after Concord Management had already hired a legal team to defend itself ... and AFTER their legal team had served a discovery request on the prosecutor's office.
You can't make this sh!t up.
I'm now wondering if anyone on Mueller's team even has an IQ over 90.
"Evidence? Wait...you want evidence?"
This whole phony, unjust and corrupt incident should be dead fairly soon. Then on to prosecuting all the bastards, including Hitlery and Obama.
The right of the accused to a speedy trial. The right to be informed of the charges. To some, that’s asking too much.
Mueller’s shelf life has long expired. This crook and his associates are just about history.
Ironic how this whole thing started with Obama loosening the hold on intelligence so it could be more freely shared among agencies and leaked to the press.
Now Mueller is trying to put people in jail yet wants to keep a tight hold on information regarding the overall investigation. The small-fry defendants and judges are not cooperating with him.
Poor Mueller.
At last, honest judges and courageous targets/subjects are standing up to the tyrannical Mueller pettifoggers. Hopefully, more will now be willing to stand up to the bullying and lies!
One would certainly hope so.
Judge appointed by.....
.TRUMP
The Plan was to get the country to turn against Trump and make him Resign and not get this far ,LOL
"I love the smell of panicking Deep Staters in the morning. It smells like...
...MAGA!"
Mueller thinks everyone is going to just roll over. Just cause Sessions is a coward does not mean others are.
I don't want it to die.
Think of it this way ...
As ridiculous as it sounds, does the Russian company that sent its lawyers to the courtroom yesterday to oppose Mueller's motion to delay the initial court hearing have any incentive to end this case?
Of course not. We may end up in a bizarre scenario where the prosecution files a motion in the case to drop the charges and the defendant actually opposes the motion.
They’re so used to being able to bully or bankrupt people into submission, with a helpful hand from the judiciary when needed, that they aren’t used to anyone pushing back.
Very good chance, Team Mueller will go 0 for 3 in the first round: Flynn, Manafort and the 13 Russians.
On a side note, if the Russians, et al, acted alone and got no help from Putin, I think it’d be safe to say that they can call that lifeline whenever they want, at this point. No telling what the FSB has on Mueller. And Putin would love to stick his finger in the eye of any involved, especially if they’re going after some of his folks.
Mueller is not an honorable prosecutor. He has no integrity.y This witch hunt should be disbanded immediately.
