I hear now he's saying he regrets choosing Palin to be his running mate. All she ever did was be loyal to that worthless SOB, endorsing and campaigning for him even as folks like us here were groaning that he was not worth her support. But she was loyal. And he uses the last of his strength to throw her under the bus.
I cannot express how much I loathe this man. And it aint just about his politics, in fact it's not really about them at all. It's about his backstabbing, duplicitous, and lying ways and the apparent joy he takes in giving the finger to us all. I just despise him.

This is always hard for me, because I worked with a very different John McCain in 2015. He helped me and my County with an issue that had he not intervened, would have fiscally devastated us. Here’s the rub. He helped me fix one problem that years of bad policy making, that he enabled, wrought. So I can never forget how much he and his staff helped me (nobody else could have done the kind of back room, house of card stuff he put into motion) but we should never had been in the predicament we were to begin with.

Well said and I couldn’t agree more.
Decent human beings who are about to die would have other priorities.

You would think he would be more concerned with his family & soul. If I start saying what I think about him, well, it’s best left unsaid. Feel bad for Palin tonight, but I bet she has a classy answer to this. She’s 100 times the human being he is.

As far as I am concerned, Songbird McCain is already dead.

McCain is vile, angry and bitter man all the way to the grave.
I never realized what war mongering maniac he was until now.
In a strange sort of way its a blessing McCain did not win in 2008. It certainly would have meant nuclear war with Russia had McCain won.

The funeral won’t be public. You’d have to wait in line to pee on his grave.

But was what he did legal? Did it involve back room deals, him pushing his weight around? I am glad for you that he helped you. Gotta say this is the first good thing I’ve heard about him.
I think he’s smarmy. I’ll never forget the tone in his voice when he said that he was the one who turned over the Hillary-funded Russian lies to the FBI. It was like Eddie Haskell on crack...with overtones of Snidely Whiplash.

Yes, Yahoo is all-too-happy to be “reporting” on traitor McCain.
I mean the distinguished Republican senator from Arizona.
I had to vote for him because I read Obama almost from the get-go.

McCain is exhibit A in why we should not vote for "the lesser of two evils" because in 2008 it's highly debateable that the lying snake was any better than Obama and had he won, the damage he did would have been partially my fault because I (knowing what a duplicitous backstabbing scumbag liar he is) held my nose and voted for him. I will never ever again vote for someone I distrust, I don't care who they are running against. I'm not a purist, I don't need the guy to come out and say "I'm a freeper and my handle is superpureconservative, check my posts over the past 10 years and you'll see I'm a true believer". But I know that McCain is a terrible human being and has been for decades, yet I voted for him. I mean, I voted for Romney too but I don't feel like I pulled the lever for the devil like I do for McCain. I just won't ever walk into a voting booth and vote like a lemming because "well the other guys worse" because sometimes he probably isn't really, and Obama probably wasn't worse than McCain.

In the decade after the Keating Five episode....as I read more and more over the contributions to McCain...I always felt that he should have a minimum of two or three years in prison. The Senate? At the very least...he should have been kicked out. He was, and probably still is....a criminal.
To: pepsi_junkie
If you truly believe McCain is the same as Obama, then you're an idiot.
I can't stand McCain either. Bitter, angry, selfish, disloyal RINO to the core.
But equal to Obambi the Muslim, socialist community organizer? puhLEEZE!
Voting for the lesser of two evils is very often what elections come down to. You do the best you can with what you're given.

He also says it was a mistake to have Sarah Palin as his candidate for VP. If it wasn’t for her McCain would have lost by a much larger margin.
