So he fought for the Wermacht during WWII and for the US in Korea?
He must have immigrated soon after the war.
Or been a pow who was sent here and decided to stay.
I have heard of one German pow who was sent to the US and when realising his home was behind Russian lines refused to go back.
I never met him but heard people talk about him.
He emigrated after the war because he had a relative here. All the German troops were desperate to surrender to the Americans so they shot their officers who kept pointing them towards the Russians.
The US used German troops for artillery/spotting because the Chinese were not expecting radio traffic in German.
Maybe we met upon the field of battle; I served under Jubal Early as a drone operator and masseuse.
Megaforce was a Chuck Norris vehicle and it had motorcycles that fired missiles.

German plus military codes must have given their intelligence people nightmares.
The Russians weren’t kind to the German POW’s. Very few Germans returned home from Russia.
