Also every socialist country eventually turns into a large Gulag : Cuba, N korea, Venezuela , Cambodia , Zimbawe , USSR , ukraine etc. etc etc.
Ditto for every government run institution for example the U.S. government schools which are just gulags
In a gulag a government idiot decides if you get the great production of socialism a stale piece of bread maybe once a week then back to work in the fields and a whipping if someone accused you of saying something pro Freedom , or pro capitalism or pro Christianity or pro Trump etc.
A great deal of the people in this country who don’t have jobs, don’t want jobs.

Communism is seductive but intellectually lazy and economically impossible, and requires the elimination of some pretty central constitutional rights, in fact making them illegal, like free speech, firearms and property.
Then enforcing the new laws forces either compliant slavery,,, or outlaws, which the elites can dispose of as they wish. Those outlaws would be mostly conservatives and libertarian types like us.
If Sanders gets any traction at all then I think we may in fact be heading toward a civil war. But it will require submitting to the Marxists/Globalists.
It should be clear that the hippie movement, which Sanders was part, is in fact communist. Once inspired by love and drugs and freedom and unconformity when confronting the culture of the 1960’s, today is about hate, control, class envy and conformity today. And it must be stopped.
Bernie is just pushing socialism which has never worked.
You need private ownership and competition in a free market to have a successful economy , country and civilization.
Competition keeps companies and institutions honest.
Private ownership ensures efficiency . You are careful with your own money . The FDA thugs get billion dollar budget no matter what they do or don't do . Ditto for the DOJ , FBI, EPA , CIA thugs etc. . It's not their money in government.
These are just a couple of reasons why socialism can never work But there are THOUSANDS more. Each one singly proves that socialism/government can never work. combined their inherent inefficiencies multiply on each other producing a large gulag as in Cuba, N korea, Venezuela.

No way to pay for that. Not enough taxes on everyone working to pay for it, not even if you confiscated all the wealth in America could you pay for that.
If everyone is making at least $15 per hour, then the poverty line will be somewhere around $20 per hour. And no one will produce more than they have to, leading to shortages of things that used to be plentiful like in Venezuela right now.
