You do know that can’t never happen.
Insisting it is the right thing to do and easy to do still does not mean it ever in a million years WILL happen

I would cheer though.
He is instructing Customs and Border Protection to refuse them entry when they show up at a port of entry rather than paroling them into the US to apply for asylum.
They will then cross the border at other than a port of entry where they will be detained by the Border Patrol.
The Border Patrol will then process them for a (NTA) Notice to Appear in a future immigration hearing and release them on the street. There is no room in our detention centers as they are full of criminal aliens.
So how will they be stopped? They won't be stopped only temporally delayed and there is not much that the president can do about it.
Congress specifically set it up this way. Its not a flaw it's a feature.

Patrolling the border was the job of the US Cavalry until 1943. I don’t see why a mechanized infantry division can’t be used to patrol the border. We have troops on the DMZ in Korea, and have troops guarding the borders of other countries, its’ time to have them guard our own borders.
I read somewhere that the border has a 60 ft wide strip that is federal land.....maybe there is some long forgotten rule that can be applied.
