Little Robin (who died at age 3 from leukemia) greeting her mom as she joins her in Heaven. Evidently, the Bush family loved the cartoon. I suspect that when GHWB saw this, he had thoughts of joining his wife and daughter and it wouldn’t surprise me if his focus has turned from this world to the next. They (the family) always thought Jeb would be the successor to the throne as he got into politics sooner than W. W was a fun guy, a partier, into major league baseball, not politics. Jeb was the smart one. W was the regular guy. (which speaks volumes)

I took my son to see “Ready Player One” on Friday but I did want to see the Chappaquiddick movie. I’m not into video games but he is. So I suffered through... Lots of 1980s nostalgia but still stupid to me...

16. Authorities said they believe Imran secretly moved all the data of more than a dozen House members’ offices onto the caucus server. The Dem Caucus server and DNC server breach occurred approximately at the same time.
17. An IG presentation concluded that Dem Caucus server may have been “used for nefarious purposes and elevated the risk that individuals could be reading and/or removing information,”. The Awans logged into it 27 times a day, far more than any other computer they administered.

20. The Awans began selling their assets during the same time period. In January 2017 they took out a loan intended for home improvement, falsely claimed a medical emergency in order to cash out their House retirement account, and wired $300,000 overseas.

There is a powerful lesson to be learned from the Barbara Bush passing. The overwhelming number of American citizens of all political stripes could have cared less about the Barbara Bush passing. Only about a meager number, 6,000 Americans attended the casket showing, that was open to the general public, and, yesterday there were very few rank & file Americans following or watching the funeral motorcade as it drove by.

My beloved, departed husband was from Massachusetts although originally his family was in Indiana. Husband Billy was 16 when they moved to Massachusetts, right around the time of the great Kennedy water death.
So I’m talking to my mother-in-law the other day. She is now 89 years old. I tell her I saw Chappaquiddick and was she in Mass. at that time?
She tells me they had just moved to Mass. Her husband, Billy’s father, was President of Baybanks in Mass. and they all had to be loyal to their new state.
MIL tells me Billy was so unhappy that he threatened to run away back to Indiana.
She told me that the entire state of Mass. loved Teddy Kennedy, they didn’t believe he meant any harm. She said that with her husband president of a prominent Mass. bank they all had to act reverent and respectful of Ted Kennedy, that poor family had enough trouble they were told.
Like I said, they were from Indiana and in that state you don’t drive young women into ponds and leave them to die. But she respected her husband’s livelihood but to this day she thinks Mass. is a nutjob of a state.
