Washington (CNN)On Wednesday, the Republican governor of Missouri asked for a temporary restraining order against the Republican attorney general of Missouri, who is also the leading candidate to represent the GOP against Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) in the fall. The governor, Eric Greitens, made the move to keep the AG, Josh Hawley, from pursuing an investigation into the possibility that he broke the law when he used a fundraising list from a non-profit to collect funds for his political campaigns.

The Ozarks will be pretty red. The bootheel is a different demographic, but not huge population so I don’t know how much influence that will be.
I think if there is nothing there, they will make something up. In Alabama they dragged out two kook women to make unprovable accusations from 40 years ago. In George Allen's race, they turned "Macaca" into a racial slur, and beat him with it. Christine O'Donnell they called a "Witch", Susan Angle was a radical extremist, and Chris McDaniel was a racists who didn't want black people to vote.
When they want to take out a reform candidate, they will either make up or twist information to create the necessary dirt to destroy them.
I think most of us would if in similar situations. Our vetting of candidates is atrocious.
I think sometimes foolish candidates are put up to it for the purpose of splitting the vote and letting a moderate/liberal win.

The Ozarks will remain solid conservative. I live here and no way she will win ...can’t speak for the rest of MO but would bet it is hers to win. The GOP does some stupid things
