Rahm hasn’t tried confiscation yet. If he would just declare all guns to be illegal within Chicago city limits, then send the police out to collect all the guns, it would end all violence in his town.

Perhaps even ban the map of California because it looks like a high capacity magazine; ban the map of both Florida and Maryland because their outline looks like a gun. I wonder when schoolbooks will delete those states

An acquaintance of mine suggested to me that Chicago (and some other major Dem-controlled cities) have ways of under-reporting the number of gun crimes, including homicides and murder (murder being a subset of homicide).

Could/should be big news, if it's true.

Anyone have reliable info on this?

It's actually more fundamental than that: he CAN'T go after the actual problem (violent thugs) because that's his voting base.

A Democrat in Illinois cannot be elected without the inner city minority vote. How many inner city voters have a son, boyfriend, cousin, etc, with a criminal record? What would be the reaction of that voting bloc, for example, to a program which emphasizes CCW and removing violent criminals from the environment, by either jailing them or killing them?
