Border Patrol agents have seen a significant uptick in the number of migrants from Bangladesh attempting to illegally cross from Mexico into Texas at the Laredo Sector this year, and say Latin American drug cartels are charging each person as much as $27,000 to be smuggled into the U.S.
At a little more than halfway through fiscal year 2018, agents have already caught 183 Bangladeshi nationals trying to break into the U.S., more than the 180 caught in all of the last fiscal year,..
Sixty percent of all illegal immigrants who made the 8,500-mile trip from Asia to the U.S. in fiscal year 2017 were apprehended by Border Patrol agents in and around Laredo.

“They’re flying into South America and from there they’re taking various modes of transportation through Central America up to Mexico,” Acosta said. “It’s basically the [smuggling] organization that’s bringing them across. They [the Bangladeshis] don’t really decide where in the United States they’re going to cross.”
They know that if they get in they are home free to make our home theirs for free.
Our politicians (Trump excepted) assist them.
We have the money they have the ‘product’.
So many being ‘transported’ to our borders. And the numbers they ‘catch’ are significant. We’ll never know how many get in.
Public executions for anyone caught smuggling people into this country.
They probably only catch 10%
Where does someone from Bangladesh get $27,000? I couldn’t come up with that kind of money to save my life.
.”Public executions for anyone caught smuggling people into this country.”....
I’d prefer using a firing squad.
Bangladesh is one of the poorest countries on the planet. Where would the invaders get $27K? Follow the money.
$81 Million Bangladesh Bank Theft.......spreading the wealth around....
I want to talk to you about your computer!
I totally agree with your sentiment. Go after the coyotes and that will significantly curtail movements.
I’m sure the drug cartel would refund their customer’s money.
That’s something that always confused me:
Mexicans seem to be paying $5,000 to $7,500 to get snuck in, Guatemalans, Hondurans, Salvadorans etc. seem to be paying $7,500 to $15,000 to get snuck in.... And now, Bangladeshis are paying $27,000 to get snuck in....
If they have that kind of money, why don’t they stay home, where they can live cheaply, and maybe start a business of some kind... $27,000 US$ is about 12 years “Living Wage” in Bangladesh.
Trump may not be helping them, but he hasn’t been able to stop them. Where’s the blasted wall?
Driving a taxi or working the counter at 7/11 can’t pay that well.
