By your own criteria: "... objective, conclusive, primary source proof.... , the links you cite are none of that.

They are combinations of spin, heresay, wishful thinking and possibly outright lies, intended to justify bombing a legitimate, sovereign government.

"The strikes targeted chemical weapons."

Perhaps they did. The only reason I even replied to your original post is because with: "...hate Trump for executing the Syria strike where ISIS actually is operating..." you suggested a false equivalence that bombing Assad's facilities is fighting ISIS.

Perhaps that was not your intent and it was a writing failure rather than a logic fail.

If so, Nevermind, as Emily Litella used to say.

I actually don't believe that there was any genuine ISIS involvement in the Vegas slaughter. There might have been some Saudi involvement, but proving that will be harder than proving that Assad DID order the use of chemical weapons, OR proving that he did NOT order it.

“We have systems that can track an incoming mortar round, calculate the origin, fire back and destroy the enemy before they get a second shot off.”

Well... In reality they can get several rounds off before we send anything down range.

We CAN calculate their position with pretty good accuracy based on their first round, but unless we have assets locked and loaded in range and in position waiting, it would take a minute or so to respond.

” Yeah, those guys.”

Those guys are the heads of that cluster F.

There are thousands of people in these departments who’s love of country and freedom put their lives at risk everyday.

I’m not swayed, staying the course here. My boss was Billy Bob Clinton and yet I’m not part of that machine .. not by FAR.

More evidence than Trump had before he bombed Syria, I hope?

By GCC I assume you mean Gulf Cooperation Council ? do they hgave Special Forces operating in a place like Syria , I thought they were mostly just political. They certainly would profit from getting sanctions imposed on Syria so there would be a lot of motive for them to create a false flag attack

Couldn’t use Chlorine (or Sarin a year ago) anyway because it was all destroyed years ago and doesn’t exist in the country - right?

No he didn’t. Chemical weapons infrastructure was bombed. Was Assad killing ISIS with chemical weapons? If not then Assad’s ability to kill ISIS wasn’t affected at all.

GCC has something like 350,000 troops, and are operating all over the gulf states. What they do is pretty much under the legacy media radar. Did you happen to watch Trump’s meeting with the Emir of Qatar? Watch it. Remember MbS was just over visiting too.

Thanks. The point is we know what’s moving around in the air with pretty high accuracy.

Very simple, Assad is fighting ISIS we are bombing Assad. We are ISIS’s air force.

The same people who believe ISIS did Vegas believe ISIS did the “false flag” chemical attack. So why would they be against the US operating in Syria? They are the same ones who moan wanting us to have no troops in Syria whatsoever.

They are pretty easy to spot and are the ones having a logic fail.

We bombed, very specifically, three chemical weapon sites. If Assad was not using chemical weapons on ISIS how did that strike hamper Assad’s ability to fight ISIS?

It didn’t. Unless he was using chemical weapons on ISIS, right?

Think!!

Under Obama (with help from McCain) we armed and trained ISIS, hopefully we have stopped doing that. Trump promised to get us the hell out of Syria, so why is he now bombing Assad? We have no business in Syria or on taking sides in their civil war. Bad stuff is happening all over the world, it is time to put America first, secure or borders, rebuild our manufacturing base and drain the swamp that is Washington DC. Plus I have seen no hard evidence that Assad was responsible for the chemical attack. If Trump wants to be a successful president he better get back to doing the things be campaigned for instead of doing the things he campaigned against.

I am starting to get the “meet the new boss same as the old boss” feeling and that is not good.

“Trump promised to get us the hell out of Syria”

Trump also promised to kill ISIS and ISIS is in Syria.

“so why is he now bombing Assad?”

Again Trump DID NOT BOMB ASSAD! Why do you keep saying that? France, England, and the US struck, with cruise missiles, very specifically, three CHEMICAL WEAPONS SITES. That shouldn’t affect Asssad at all UNLESS HE WAS USING CHEMICAL WEAPONS! Does Assad live on chemical weapons sites? NO. And chemical weapons use is Trump’s red line.

“Plus I have seen no hard evidence that Assad was responsible for the chemical attack.”

Read posts 13 and 18. Remember no rebel groups have aircraft. The Syrian government does.
