My sincerest condolences. I've suffered the same kind of loss and it really hurts. You both must have had a wonderful like together. In over 30 years with wonderful dogs, my advice to you is do as I've always done: get another.

Hopefully your right about going away. We need a lot less dog troll action on here.
I think the best thing to do is ignore it and do things in real life(not bickering on the interweb)that make a difference.
Sure shows you how ignorant some posters are on this forum.I think that’s what Chet2.0’s plan is.Have people argue and look foolish.

Just heard your bear story. Don’t know what to say but wow. Two hero’s working together to save each other.
I fished Easy lake years ago. Flew into it from Wah-Wah. It was one of my most memorable trips of my life. Very wild and beautiful country.
Did Sam ever end up getting a medal for bear blocking?
