I don’t know if it was that big of a blunder. Iraq for the most part is at peace and Sadam was a big problem. I also remember we got Lybia to give up there nuclear technology which was well advanced. I think I would define blunder as actually losing.

Moreover, it was a unified Allied strike. It matters not who used the weapons. Think about it. Assad was perfectly capable of thinking he could get away with it and the rebels were perfectly capable of thinking the same thing. It was a strike against chemical weaponry... in the end.
And... more than anything else, this sets up Trump for the North Korea sit down. I think it was a masterful hand, that perhaps only Trump could have pulled off so well. Whether Putin was in on it or realized they could do nothing about it is, in fact, insignificant.
I think some folks around here are missing the big picture - especially the 'that's it for me' crowd. I criticized the budget but never stated that I gave up on Trump. The man is a genius in many ways, aside from making billions.
