Even though Obama left office just two years ago, it seems like such a long long time ago that the media went into high dudgeon about civility anytime anyone anywhere — even private citizens — said something remotely offensive or critical about Obama. The media scoured the country to find the guy who put “Obama Library” on an outhouse in a float in a local parade. They went ballistic when a guy put up a billboard in his front yard accusing Obama of treason. And now, we have talk show hosts calling Trump scum, a dirtbag and anything else they can think of that doesn’t violate the obscenity codes on national TV.
