There is only one solution to this problem. “That which is not Constitutional must be sterilized! And there are no exceptions!”

I’m a native New Yorker and I got out. Get out while you can, it’s so worth it. Trust me.

That map is wrong. You need a split of Northern California well above SF to include it with the south, and a corridor up the middle of the midwest. Then the libs would have a West Bank and a Gaza at the northeast USA, conservatives would have the rest. This would also give conservatives access to the Pacific. Lots of conservatives in Northern California (above SF region).

Agree: “That which is not Constitutional must be sterilized.”

Only one thing modifies evil group behavior - punishment. No other approach works.

I recently read a scifi novel about this. Can’t remember the title. Thesis is that the country breaks in two after a short war. People going to ruined, Libtard CA have to act like going to another country. The CA lunatics have a Dem Fascist state and try to steal from the non-lib parts of the remaining states. Murder is routine. One USAF base manages to hold-out in a borderline state after much fighting.

No. The last “divorce” was only possible because of a geographic/regional division of slave/non-slave states. It extended to places like Arizona where southern AZ was pro-slave, and anti-slave, central/northern AZ. The central/northern side defeated the Tucson side at the battle of Picacho Peak, and that was that. But the point is, even in remote AZ, it was geographical.

Putting Idaho and Montana in “soyland?” Really? ID one of the most conservative places on earth.

We really have four pockets of liberalism (yes, there are pockets of libs in most major cities, Houston, Atlanta, etc) but really there are these four: CA coast up through coastal OR and WA; Chicago; some NE (VT, CT, RI); and east coast from NY to Richmond.

The entire rest of the country is pretty much middle to conservative. That’s not much to hang a secession on.

...might allow them to declare that they were seceding from the country...

Didn’t some states also try this a while ago? Understand that it didn’t work out so well for them.

I live in SC, if the union was to take away our Second Amendment rights South Carolina will leave the union. Unfortunately history has a habit of repeating itself, many people will die watering the tree of liberty.

A lot of people here are willing to fight to protect their rights. SC residents are very well arm........

Let alone the civilian demographics, the four states have five Air Force bases and a National Guard air field between them.

Even IF that were to happen....there are pockets of red and blue in both new areas that would have to be dealt with by the respective sides.

A better representation of the breakdown would be to use the county level results of the 2016 election.

This illustrates the areas that would have to be contained in the Red states.

Won’t happen. But in 20 years the government may be broke and there may be no one to enforce the gun laws anyway.

The United States are a plural subject. They require a plural form of any verb. (See the Constitution, for an example.) The term "Union," on the other hand is singular. The first refers to the plural sovereigns that entered and created the second, the Federal "Union."

I am not trying to be pedantic. The point is essential to an understanding of what was & is involved in our Federal system.
