Trump Says 'Major Decisions' On Syria Coming In Next 24 To 48 Hours

President Donald Trump Monday condemned the alleged chemical attack in Syria saying, “It was atrocious, it was horrible.”

During a meeting with his Cabinet on Monday, the president said intelligence assessments are underway and his administration will be making "some major decisions" on Syria over the next 24-48 hours. He later said a decision could be made "later today."

When asked about possible U.S. military action, Trump said: "Nothing's off the table."

“This is about humanity and it can’t be allowed to happen,” he said. “If it’s the Russians, if it’s Syria, if it's Iran, if it’s all of them together, we’ll figure it out.

Over the weekend, Trump took to Twitter to call the situation in Syria a “mindless chemical attack” while also pointing the finger at “President Putin, Russia, and Iran” for “backing Animal Assad.”

““If it’s the Russians, if it’s Syria, if it’s Iran, if it’s all of them together, we’ll figure it out.”

What if it is none of them?

Why the heck do we need to be involved if it doesn’t involve ISIS?

Trump may build a wall in syria.

Didn't Ryan and Pelosi already fund it?

We need to pay attention to our interests. The best thing for America would be for Assad to win that war quickly. Anything that interferes with a quick Assad victory harms America.

What galls me to no end is that we have politicians in DC who refuse to do anything about the illegal immigration over our borders yet they seem overly concerned about what happens in Syria. Syria is not now and never has been in any of our national interests; our border is.

I agree.

I watched Trump during that interview. It seemed he was (relatively) sure of what happened, but he was sort of holding what he was saying just to be sure.

Not (100%) sure at this point, exactly what happened, it seemed to me.

Biblical prophesies indicate Damascus will become a devastated, glowing heap approaching the last days.
Just sayin'....

I know it’s a quaint and old-fashioned idea, but it’s supposed to be the job of Congress to decide whether or not to get involved in foreign conflicts.

.
Its of global concern because the sacking of Damascus is the signal that the end of “The Kingdoms of Men” is soon to come.

Not a coincidence, same ones, McCain, Graham, Rubio.

“Why the heck do we need to be involved if it doesn’t involve ISIS?”

I understand and tend to agree with your point of view, but what if Germany and Japan hadn't been aggressors against us in WWII, but we knew about Hitler's genocide pogrom against the Jews?

If Trump doesn’t understand that it was US operatives that setup the attack, then he’s not as smart as I thought he was.

They’re resisting pulling out of Syria. That’s all it was about.

...and if Iran (with Russian backing) want to get to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem from Syria, they have to go through Golan and past the Sea of Galilee and then Megiddo. Just sayin’

I am encouraged that the President is taking the time to “ figure it out”. Any idiot can see this is a false flag again in Syria. All alleged gas used in Syria were the Jihadis. Mad Dog Mattis actually admitted the warehouse in North east Syria was an Isis chemical factory that was bombed. The Syrian government had recently found two chemical was factories captured from the jihadi Al Nusra and brought dozens of new reporters to inspect them!! There has been Zero reports that any of this was not true. IT IS THE JIHADIS GASSING PEOPLE!! Syria had no reason to gas its own people—!! They were slaughtering the McCain supported moslem bastards by the thousands. This was the last stronghold where the Jihadis hid behind innocent population and gassed these people! AND WE ARE FALLING FOR THIS LIE? You can’t make this up. It is like watching a slow motion train wreck.

This is an article that proves that General Mattis concluded there was no evidence of Syrian involvement is Micheal weapons. This was after the ill advised attack on the run ways of Syrian airbases that were quickly rebuilt.

This will not end the same way. The Russian are saying it was done by Song bird McCain’s Jihadists.

If we strike, then Russia will strike back.

World War III in other words.

Even if it really was Assad which I don’t believe for 1 second. Is it worth getting Americans killed for Jihadists that want to kill us?
